Oh I got it and I try to enjoy it if the sun would just come out!

I just like to see good people do well! And hey, John is semi retired now!

Now where did I put that pig?:huh:

Congratulations on your new boat she looks a winner.

We are looking at trading our 05 340 when we get back to the mainland from the Keys next month.

Could you pm me with what you received for your boat on the trade it will give me an idea with obvious options taken into consideration.

Thanks Gerald

Hey John,

Have I congratulated you on the boat yet? Can you post the contact information for the people you used at Bank of America? Or, PM me if you like? I just refi'd with Trident at 5 7/8, but would do it again tomorrow if I could get close to 4.75.

Good luck with the rest of your shopping! I'm interested to hear what you end up with for a dinghy. I'm envious of all of the nice dinghies I see around my marina. I really like the short Caribe's with the Honda outboards...

Thanks,

Kevin

For everyone, google bank of america boat loans and fill out the online app. That's all I did.

John

Not sure if I read it in this thread or not but which lift are you having installed?

Sea Lift. Single hydraulic actuator on a dual arm lift - won't get cocked (STS). Also, doesn't move as far aft as others as it extends, so, you can actually step down onto it instead of leaping out over the dangerous mechanisms. Has built in chocks that lay flat into surface of custom made platform after tender is launched.

Thank you. Don't we all. With this loan, this boat is NOT A STRETCH! My wife and I drive 2001 and 2004 cars. We have been in the same house for 14 years. This is where we have chosen to concentrate our financial efforts. Kids are out of the house. It's all about choices. I know it looks decadent as hell, but we here at CSR have to know more than any other group that it's about choices, not cash. Once again, I'd like to say that I know it looks decadent as hell - really!

Is that MY yacht? Really? Really really? WOW! Now, where's the address to that other site? (JK)

John

Sent you a PM...ya know for that OTHER (diesel) site. j/k as well.

Nice choice on the Sea-Lift! I met the guys that run the company when they were just getting started and they installed a lift on a 46 Maxum that I sold. They didn't have the platform lifts out yet but the main reason the owner went with Sea-lift was the single hydraulic cylinder and the ability to keep the dinghy close to the transom when its lowered.

That will compliment your boat very nicely!

That sounds like the same lift I have. I think compare to others the huge benefit is the single cylinder. These things are expensive, so replacing one is ok, unlike when you have to replace 4 or more on other lifts. Another advantage I see that you have minimum extra weight added to the stern, which creates minimum impact on performance.

:smt009 Oh no John, I was not insinuating you were above your means at all.........I meant it is above MY means so I can enjoy the boat through all your trips and posts thats all.:smt038

I get excited when one of you guys buys a new boat and posts pics of it. I carry the laptop around the house like an idiot and show the wife and kids!

I read posts about boats that are much larger and smaller than mine just for the know how!

John, is this the Sea Lift name for what you are describing above? It appears to be the only single cylinder shown on their site

Flat Transom Platform Lift

Or this one?

Cradle Lift

Thanks

I don’t think this appeared decadent at all, but if you want to think that way you might as well mix a little debauchery in too. The Captain and his wench should break the boat in with style. Have fun Captain.
