2008 44 Sedan Bridge Purchase

John,

What a great time of year to be getting a new (beautiful) boat!

Hope that pollen doesn't cause your sinus' to clog up - you might not be able to fly for a couple of weeks....

John,

Based on the pictures it looks like you're dealing with professional folks. Hope the rest goes as good as it shows in the pictures.

Good luck,
Alex.

I would probably be without sleep for at least a week, just putting around on board. I am very excited for you, especially seeing those pictures on the trailer!

Thanks guys. Back home and saw the boat today. Looks great. Long way to go. Can't wait to get it in the water and be done with the work.

John,
I was at SB Northpoint Saturday and got talking with one of their salesman from their Milwaukee location. We got talking about moving boats to FL and your boat came up. He said it was at his store this past Summer and had nothing but great things to say about how well the boat handled. An unsolicited comment like this is conformation you dun good!:smt038

Thanks for the input! I'll be on the West Coast of Fl next winter, if all goes as planned. Here's some updates. They painted the bottom while the top was still covered. Shelli and I took advantage of the opportunity to compound, polish, and wax the sides last weekend. Today, we unveiled the arch and cleaned it up as well before we can't reach it - hopefully tomorrow unless the wx forecast comes true. They're going to take the shrink wrap off and put the arch on and glass up all on the same day - really not that big of job, but the wx needs to cooperate.

John, I am SOOOOOOO happy for you and Shelli!!!!
I finally had my mechanic change my impellers this weekend. He even said that he has never had to battle that hard to change ANY impellers before. It was really worth the 50 bucks he charged me.

Fifty bucks! Fifty bucks! Wow, what a deal!

I said the same thing!!! And to top it off, showed me how to take apart and clean the transmission coolers too. He's a really nice guy and genuinely likes to help out fellow boaters. He's a go-fast boater at heart and has a older Formula 20 something footer that hauls a$$ and sounds awesome. We all hang out in the same little cove during the hot summers here in N.O.

John, you are going to be "flying high"for quite a while! Great for you guys and it's nice to see such a wonderful boat getting owners that will maintain her and use her the way she was meant to be!

+1 on that one Ernie.

Congrats on the very nice yacht. Jealous of people that live on real water. On our local lakes you could make a u-turn then be done in a boat that size.
