My car has got you all beat on safety....
Hey kurt, I dont want to get into the benefits of chiropractic with you, and the economic rewards either, and as far as advertising here on CSR, any fool would realize 80% of the guys who frequent here are from the northeast. It didnt cross my mind I was advertising, just commenting on what a dumb idea you came up with and making a joke . Sorry you got so defensive. Is not Chiropractic Voodoo? If it was not you would not be advertising. If I get a check I might as well just send you the money and never even recieve treatment. Now that would really be the best idea to boost you're economy right. At least I am thinking above just myself on the situation at hand.
Ok...since you are the picture guy...let see a picture of it....:smt001
In Septemeber 2007, when the newly designed 2008 CTS came out, the admiral and I went to go for a test ride with the intention to buy one. We had a 2004 STS that we were trading in. The CTS was 'W-A-Y' too small inside. With the front seats set back 3/4 on their rails, I could barely sit in the rear seat and my knees were banging the seat in front of me. The car handled great and was full of pep with the tweaked up Direct Injection 304 HP 3.6L motor. BTW, I think the new Malibu uses a slightly detuned version of the same motor. Anyway, we ended up with a new 2008 STS....same peppy motor with a little more room.
Ah yes, you're right... I'd just said to myself that I didn't want to drive a vehicle that long, so I removed it from my personal list. You don't have to lose box length. The long box is available if you want it with a crewcab..
I had a 72 Dodge Challenger 340 4 speed - sold it when I got married :smt089 have you seen the new Challenger wussy but nice lines
Mine was the same, 340, 4 speed, Carter Thermoquad. Had the Ralley pack dash and hood, upgraded interior, A/C, factory AM/FM stereo. Should have never sold it. Sold it because the previous owner did some work to it which needed to be re-done and as a po' college student, my budget was thin. Stupid, stupid mistake!
There's a Dodge dealer near the Marina who has a couple new ones on the lot. Stopped to look but the the salesmen's cigarette smoke in the showroom was so thick that I walked out. Stupid reason to lose customers, IMHO. Oh well. If I was going to drop 40 large on a Challenger, might as get an appreciating one rather than a depreciating one.
BTW, never had a Pacer or any other car or truck with less than 8 cylinders. That would be wussy. (Honking big diesels excepted.)
Best regards,
Frank
What does this all have to do with boating in a thread outside of the holding tank and in the general discussion section which is supposed to be exclusively about boating and went off topic to begin with?
With $350 billion of the $700 billion federal bailout money still available to the Treasury secretary pending congressional approval, taxpayers should get a break, a Republican lawmaker says.
The remaining $350 billion should be used to give taxpayers a two-month income tax and FICA tax holiday, said Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-Texas) on Monday.
OK. How about this...
Take your tax savings and put it down on a boat.
Best regards,
Frank
Must be a ford or chevy guy.
Thank you for going back on topic...lol
Ya know I was kidding, right? Im probably the worst offender with going off topic/non-boat related.
And an American car company wouldnt get my $. I have Nissans and an MG.
Never had a muscle car? Are you really an American? Or a guy? Senator McCarthy, are you watching?
Comrade Moderator, we have an infiltrator!
