I think Sea Gull's holding tank is bigger than my gas tank.

165 hours, 20-ish GPH=3300 Gallons of diesel.
3.50 gallon.

Lots of $$.

I want the people that said they will spend less than $1K to speak up... My PWC will burn more that $1K this summer.

You think Diesel will be that low?
I checked one of our Local Marina's in Seattle for "Chits and Giggles". Diesel and BioDiesel both $4.29/gallon on the water

I wonder what a gallon of sewage costs to make...

Mike, ignore him.....he's sentenced to the couch and on pain meds. His imagination is likely to run today(...not like any other I suppose).

That's a sick thought Gary...............sick I say

Get better G.

I told the admiral that when we get the 40 express with diesels I'll also need a truck with a 5000 gal tank in the back so I can collect all the used fryer oil. Of course I'll also need a small processing setup, storage and delivery system and also bring the shotgun along to fend off the thousands of sea gulls that will follow us around the lakes.

The new SeaRay towable BioBarge. They can use any discontinued models and build in the Biotank for your french fry tanks

I just smile... thinking about how I could have bought that big ole boat with 2 tanks to fill.

(now if I just hadn't of gone for the diesel dually maybe I could have smiled a little longer)

I really haven't budgeted. I will spend what it takes to have the enjoyment the family outings and relaxation but with our lil boat it will be less than the 5 limit, even with the waverunners. ( another thing that helps is that we mainly go to a close-by beach)

A LOT. when I was pumping out my measly 25 gallon holding tank, I tried to add up how many steaks, burgers, hot dogs, scrambled eggs, bottles of wine, twizzlers, ice cream, beer, my GF must have consumed to fill it up. Now if I can just figure out how to run my boat on methane.

I'm already at over $3K and it's not quite May. I boat year round and the average weekend trip to Catalina runs $500 to $550 right now. It will be an ugly year.

Going to fuel up today. I know this is going to hurt. All my tanks are about empty. I have to assume its over $4 gallon here.

Mike & Denise, I feel your pain. I topped up over the Thankgiving holiday @ 3.50 a gallon. I'm a little under 3/4 now. I'll probably top up next weekend. I have no idea what the price is right now. Hopefully they still have some of last years diesel left. Theres only few diesel boats on the lake so it last awhile.

1-5K for me...but I am a lake boater. Thank goodness I left the tanks about 7/8 full last fall.

I spread it across 64 different credit cards so I wouldn't go over my limit.

Gary...if you have any balance left on you credit limit maybe you could take out a cash advance and buy lottery tickets..:smt043:smt043
