What does everyone do for a living?

25 years of Microsoft Dynamics ERP Accounting Software sales. Currently I sell Microsoft DCAA compliant Accounting software to the Government Contractor market to replace Deltek, Quickbooks, and Jamis. www.pvbs.net

Oh my..... I've had to drink the SAP Kool-Aid; I would rather have a flaming arrow in my eyeball. Being a FAR part 12 and 15 compliant contractor and subject to DCAA and DCMA audit and review have little reward from an accounting aspect......

Work for lead acid battery manfacture for 32 year, now in logistic side of the supply chain.

Mechanical engineer for the best automobile manufacturer in the USA. Responsible for the design, build, integration, installation and start-up of body shop assembly systems.

Auto Dealer (Ford Lincoln) Owner since 1987. Downtown Ford Lincoln. Canton Oh.

After working in Pharmaceutical Research laboratory services for 30 years, and owning my own Lab service company for several, I am now in Immunology research. Way more interesting, as most drug companies are focusing on using the human body immune system to combat disease, instead of just drugs. I have also owned a gas station and car wash-long hours, no $. Also worked part time as a male escort.

Not sure about Florida but lots of need for you in Northern California!

I'm a "beancounter" (accountant) with a Master of Taxation, amongst other qualifications. Worked for the Australian Taxation Office for 9 years after I graduated. Then a small accounting firm then a large accounting firm in corporate tax consulting. Approximately twelve years ago I then started up my own boutique accounting firm after buying a client base and also consulted back to other accounting firms providing corporate tax advice and preparing tax returns for ASX listed companies including mining companies.

About the time I started up my own firm I also started up a crayfishing business with my brother out of Geraldton in Western Australia. I was running the "back office" from Perth and my brother ran the boat with a deckhand from Geraldton. We bought a second hand boat (aluminium boat with Hamilton jet unit and CAT 3208) Our pot entitlements allowed us to catch crays around the Abroholas Islands off the coast of Geraldton at certain times of the season. We leased cray pot entitlements as the price to buy outright would have run into the millions. We ran the business for about 18 months before the outbreak of the SARS virus killed demand and therefore the price of crayfish. As a result we made the decision to sell up and came out in front - even sold the boat for more then we paid. My brother continued on as a skipper on other boats until January this year.

What part of Florida are you in? Anywhere near Cape Canaveral?

We just hired an estimator, in Florida; got him out of California (Palm Springs).... I'm paying his travel back and forth to Florida. Good estimators for heavy industrial / aerospace are in big demand and hard to find with a wide experience base across the construction divisions.

Yes I do work for East Penn. Past 32 years, started in plant, they like to promote within, am now in planning and logistics. What was the occasion that you were in the plant? I keep it simple and have wet cell 8D's and 2 wet 31's for bow thruster

We were there for professional development hours for my Professional Engineer's license. I was hopeful to find some refurbished AGM batteries for the boat, sadly seems like they never make it out to your plant!

I'm another engineer! Work in the energy world in the delivery of electricity. Been there for over 25 years. It's getting interesting due to the changes in distributed generation, smart grid, and the rebuilding of aging infrastructure. All fun. I graduated from Drexel with an undergraduate degree and a dual masters degree in electrical engineering and engineering management.
