More of a life (rather than boating) skill.
For everyday wear, always buy the same socks. That way you can put them in a pile and not have to worry about matching them up.
I have done this for years.
That will do a good job of cleaning glass and striping wax.Two parts distilled water + 1 Part white Vinegar + 1 tablespoon of dishwashing liquid per gallon, makes a great windshield washer fluid.

Protect your helm seats from the sun and from rubbing on the mooring cover with these. I folded an old towel in half, and sewed the shape of the helm seats. It makes a great protective cover and becomes a Landry bag to carry the dirty towels, bathing suits and clothes back home.

I did similar to this... except I painted ~15 foot sections starting white, blue, green, yellow, and red near the bitter end.
Thanks! Almost done with the sewing machine for this winter/spring. I put it away and refuse to use it in the summer!Love that idea. Your getting to be a pro with that sewing machine.
Still getting ready to tackle the cushions for my kids 18’ Maxum. Hope they come out half as good as what you’ve done.
Great idea and I’ve wanted to do this since I saw an older post from JVM225 but didn’t know how I would do it on the boat. Looks like you solved that but how long did you have to let the paint dry before moving on to next section.

Thanks,

Thanks JVM. That’s what I figured but since I don’t have a side dock I’ll have to do it a section at a time. We anchored out on Sat for the first time with the 360 and would have been great to be able to gauge how much chain is out. I’ll get started soon if we get a couple of days in a row without rain.I do mine on a warm sunny day and let it sit in the sun for a few hours before pulling the chain back in with the windlass.
We anchor out at least once a week during the season.
Touching it up every other year seems to keep it nice and visible.

Agreed. Pay back for the mild winter!I used a label maker to make a reminder for me and put the labels on the side near my right knee.

It looks like we get a break today, hoping to spend some time waxing sections of the topsides and catch a glimpse of the flyovers, but rain returns tomorrow afternoon.
Weekend looks good. Now all we need is buoys.
So far 2020 seems to be the rainiest year in a long time.
