Yep. It's going to be quite the spectacle when the majority of folks - who can barely navigate a traffic circle - get behind the wheel of their daily drivers that can do 0-60 in 2 or 3 seconds.

we said the same thing when cars started commonly hitting 5s. We haven’t all died now that Camry’s are hitting that number.

Seriously? How many of those 5s Camry's are in the automotive fleet in the USA?? The base model - the most popular - is still a7.5 - 8.6s car.

Most EVs are not 3s 0-60 cars
 
but all evs emit 12 times the carbon as as gas engine automobile and thats just to make the battery.

Wait! We've been told for YEARS now how much faster EVs are than ICE cars. You're saying we were told lies??

We're not talking about Prius or Leafs... we're talking about the Teslas, the Rivians, the E-F150s, the Hummers and all the other BEVs that are hitting the market that the bulk of the population is supposed to purchase so they can save on their gasoline costs. None of those are substantially faster than the ICE cars that 'regular' Americans have been driving??

The “majority” of EVs sold can’t do 0-60 is 2 or 3 seconds. Just like with Camrys, the slower models are the highest sellers.

You can always petition the government to limit the power if it concerns you.
