Table Rock Lake

Hey guys!!!

I know i dont post much but its always such a pleasure reading that your all enjoying the lake! In case you havent gotten your fliers yet, Aquapalooza is coming up, if you have any questions just give us a ring, the shirts are in also. Cant wait to see you all down there!!!

I thought you were going to help install those coolers Kurt. What the heck. You really missed out. After I was done, I hosed off the boat and myself, then headed for the cove accross from the marina and jumped in. I didnt even anchor, I could not wait to get that crap off of me. Oh well it is done and only took about an hour. I will be finding fiberglass dust in the boat for the next year though.

Lonetta...saw in another post you were looking at buying a slip...where are you looking at? I seen some for sale, but it seems like the bigger ones are outrageous....there has been one in the paper for around 60K. I dont remember the size...but it is pretty big...18 X 50 or something like that.

whoa sorry Jeff I didn't see this post for a bit. We were looking at a 14x30 in the Mill Creek area. It was going for 25K but tooo much Drama on that dock (for even a drama queen like me)

We will probably stay at Kimberling this year, unless someone steals the darn boat or the rest of the stuff they can take off of it. Can you believe that, not only our gas was gone. But they took the freakin anchor!!! Good news is they left the chain and rope....I guess you call that good news.

Oh well, at least they left the boat.

We signed up. When I signed up, my confirmation email said it was in the cove by Chateau...but I looked a the site last week...and it said Rock Lane Lodge....so I am not sure where it is at. I was by MM today, and talked to SeaRay Ray...but forgot to ask him. Has anyone else heard for sure what the location is???

Lonetta...check out place for anchors..Southcoast Marine Products...727-573-4821. This is the company that Sea Ray gets their anchors from. They are located in Florida, but I dont recall where... I lost my anchor 2 years ago...and they were less that half the price of the dealer. I have a 25 lb plow...and it was like $103.00 plus shipping. When I lost mine the retaining pin just can unscrewed...so now I have some wire on it so that cannot happen again.

Does it cost anything, and if so how much? I guess we may go as long as it doesnt cost much. I am as of today unemployed, so I have to watch my money till I get a steady flow of cash coming back in. Man I never thought it would be so nice to be unemployed. I dont even care about the money, it was worth it to get out of that place. I might even take a job I saw in Springfield making around 30K less, at least I will be happy. If all else fails, I could bootleg jugs of gas to the lake and sell it off the boat.

The official Aquapalooza web site says Rock Lane Lodge but our email confirmation said The Cove next to Chateau on the Lake's Marina. Both places are fairly close to each other so finding the party shouldn't be hard.

Eric, it doesn't cost anything to attend unless you plan to buy food and drink there. We take our own lunch and drinks. If you pre-registered you get a T-shirt. They may have extras but I don't know that for sure.

We didn't go last year but we did go the first year, 2006. They had kid's games, a live band and a food concession on land at Rock Lane Lodge. They provided pontoon and deck boat rides from your boat to the dock and back as needed. (Boats rafted up together in several large groups.) It was over 100 degrees that year and we spent our time in the water up to our necks trying to keep cool! The weather should be a lot nicer this year!

Eric...as Peggy said...just go to the Aquapalooza website and register.

Did you finally have enough of your boss? You are an insurance adjuster??? Good luck with the job hunt.

Yeh, I cant believe I took his crap that long. I am working with a different copany right now, but I just started, and have not had many claims yet. They pay better though, and the owner does not like my old boss either, so we get along just fine. I contacted an attorney today to get the money they owe me. I will gladly pay a small fee to get back 50% of what I was cheated out of. I was worried about what other employers would think, but it's not like I am filing some crazy suit, I just want to be paid what I am owed.

Hey guys!
I just noticed the questions about Aquapalooza and thought i might lend a hand! It will be at Rocklane Lodge, Art Bentley will be playing out of the back of a 44Dancer, there will be food, and plenty of things to do for the kids! The event is planned for 12pm-4pm, but i'm sure things will last much longer than that =P

Feel free to give the store a call if you have more questions, if you have registered and need to pick up your shirts they are here also!

Cant wait to see everyone!!!

Jonathon...thanks for posting. I emailed Ray yesterday and he said the event was at Rock Lane...but I forgot to post it here....thanks for the update.

If your event is anything close to what MM did here in St. Louis last weekend your gonna have a great time!

I don't know about the shirts, but I had to call to find out where Rock Lane Lodge is. BTW it's towards the dam just past Indian point. I know that we won't be there right at noon, but we will be there shortly after. Remember guys if you spot us hollar...and my boat still says LUNA SEA. (I have been bugging the hubby on this for a few weeks now, so it may change soon)

Dont worry about the name, we still have not had our name printed out yet for the boat. We decided on a name after 1 1/2 years, and it will probably take that long to put it on the boat.

Well, the weather sure has been nice lately exept for the rain that is. Sure is nice to be below 90 though. Saturday was nice while it lasted. I just cant believe how hot the water is. We did have the boat set out so we could scrub it down though. So atleast we have a nice clean boat now. It makes me feel a little better about not being able to buy a bigger boat atleast.Anyone else make it down this weekend?
