Table Rock Lake

I had a friend who had a new Chap 2 years ago. We broke clets, tie towns, seats etc. It seemed as if it was in the shop every week. It was comfortable and fast however but I still would not buy one. Slice we were around State Park all day Sunday, I never saw anything resembling a bad ass Sea Ray.

Eric,
Not quite every weekend, but a lot. 3 1/2 hours door to door. We keep our boat at Emerald Pointe which is south of the dam.

Kurt,
We spent Sunday in our cove which is about half way between State Park and Big Cedar. Never got out into the channel. Our boat has a Titanium hull, which makes it kinda hard to miss.

Ray,
You're right about the techs. They were at Emerald Pointe for awhile on Friday. But, I always had a good relationship with Chris when he was at MM:lol:.

The weight didn't bother me as much as getting in and out of the engine compartment without burning myself on the exhaust manifold:smt013.

Here's a question - can the OEM arch be added to my 270 aftermarket?? By you guys?? and how much?

I know where Emerald point is. Do you have a codo there? My dad used to work with them. We have anchored in that cove several times, but that was last year, and it used to be pretty shallow, but doubt it is now. I might swing over that way this weekend. We'll see, we dont venture too far from Kimberling here lately.

Ray....is this the beast?? Absolutely breath taking!! We had to go to do to Columbia Sunday afternoon. We stopped by the MarineMax dealer Sunday evening and walked a few docks. One of the docks...is filled with Sea Rays and Meridians....the smallest one is probably a 360DA. I found the 55 Sundancer....here are a few pics.....

If you ever are up around Osage Beach...go by the Sea Ray Dealer and walk some of the docks.....

Here is a 60DA from Lake of the Ozarks....

Notice..there is a Sedan Bridge next to the 60DA...and it is almost as tall as the bridge boat...it is HUGE....

AHHHH!!! I love walking the MM dock at LOTO. DREAM DREAM DREAM and DREAM BIG!!

I must win the lottery soon.

Hi kids, The pics from Eric last week of the white hull 2001 55 Sundancer is actually at Long Creek, not State Park as I originally said. Jeff, you are a Top Secret Agent...heh. Thats her, shes gorgeous, huge and has a sold sign on her. I hope we can get her down here soon.
Eric, did you get your part ordered? I'll be glad to bring it down tomorrow.
Inventory at the dock in Kimberling City is: 48 Sundancer, 44 Sundancer, 35 Sundancer, 33 Sundancer, 290 Sundeck and something else on a trailer I can find to bring down this weekend....maybe a 250SLX or a 195 Sport...who knows....hope to see you on the water!!!!

Hello Ray , you got the best job in the whole wide world...........need a driver ?....Have yourself a great weekend

Ray,

My new coolers did come in, but I am not sure when I will have time to install them. My sons birthday party is this weekend, and apparently we are remodeling before the party. The wife says the kitchen has to be repainted, the front deck stained, the rear deck we are replacing all of the floor and hand rails, and I have to do a few other things like mox the yard, and find time to work in there somehow.

I will probably just pick them up, but I may call them and have them send them with you. Are you there all week? I will let you know when I get time to actually install them. You can come on over to the end of the cove and help me install them though :)

Anybody at the lake this weekend? Man, it was quiet on my end of the lake. If only people would forget where "my" cove is...It seems to be a destination now. Damn canboats dropping anchor in the middle of the cove, right where we were pulling a wake board 30 seconds before:smt021.

Great weekend anyway. Now if I can just get my boat to quit eating gear lube, all will be good.

I looked at my reservoir this weekend out of habit. It is was full thank goodness. If the outdrive is not leaking visibly. The line from the reservoir to the outdrive must be disconnected in the bellows. I would make MM pull the drive if it is under warranty. I bet it is full of lube.

I had a great weekend. I drank a little too much Friday night so I stayed sober all day Sat/Sun. We rafted up in Cow with about eight boats I knew every boat owner. That was kinda cool. My wife layed out with a bunch of girls in this huge 10 man raft. I kept passing them blended drinks. By 7pm I put a life jacket on her. It was pretty funny. So I spent Saturday night watching old World War Two movies with Fred as she was OUT!

Whoever has their boat above mine in the dry storage is leaking grease or something all over the swim platform. I was not happy. I did not get to the lake this weekend, but will be there this weekend. I will probably be down there this week sometime as well since my coolers came in. I need to install them sometime. I'll bring the beer if anyone wants to help. I guess I need to go buy a jig saw. Nothing like cutting fiberglass on a nice hot day.

!

That's the plan. They are going to pull the drive and pressure test it.

That is part of being in high and dry. I had a solid red Crownline for years in high and dry. The back swim deck got leaked on by probably hot water from an above outdrive. It disclored the swim deck the size of a basketball. The said "tough".
Eric you should have bought those cup holders that look like a Figure 8, they are double holders and are held down by posts that all you have to do is drill. I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate cutting fiberglass. Bring lots of extra blades 5-6 at least.

We were down Sunday and Monday....there was quite a bit of boat traffic out yesterday..for a Monday. I got gas and pumped out at Indian Point yesterday ($4.65 BTW)...and they said all of their rentals were out. The lake water temp feels great.

Monday morning....me and the admiral sitting on the end of the dock (kids still sleeping)...drank a whole pot of coffee.....much better than a Monday morning at work. Today...back to reality.....

You better believe it. We saw this guy twice at the dock where we were moored and he asked "don't you ever go out?" I said yes most of the day but we are just fine as long as we are on the dock and not at home!

Lonetta...saw in another post you were looking at buying a slip...where are you looking at? I seen some for sale, but it seems like the bigger ones are outrageous....there has been one in the paper for around 60K. I dont remember the size...but it is pretty big...18 X 50 or something like that.
