Sliding door repair 340EC

Post#56 and #57 are all photos and instructions. The original thread was in the tutorial section which requires you to be a sponsoring member so I posted the same info into this thread. Do you not see all the photos? I can see them all, so I'm not sure if there is an issue with your browser not allowing you to view them. This is for a 340EC, but your details show a 89 300 weekender. The 300 has a completely different door system which is much easier. I have a friend with one who said his was much easier because you can remove the top plate without taking the entire helm off.
The 300 should have the sliding door on the port side of the entryway, while the 340 has the large door in the center with a small pocket door on the port side.

Hi
it is definatly easier than yours as it does all pull up and out.
my issue is due to everything going on at the same time its been months since I stripped it all down. Which means forgotten exact.y what goes where on the doors!
although can say the lower rollers are supposed to be held in with a single screw just above the adjusting screw.
but the rest ........
but yes can see a lot of pics on this page, the ones you mentioned, although most do not deal with the areas of my interest. But two minutes thought should get me through.
one question springs to mind though, did you seal the door rubbers in? To frame or plexi or both?
thanks
phil

No adhesive on mine, all press fit. I just laid the rubber in and then pressed the plexiglass into that and bolted the frame together to hold it all in place. I think I put some lube in the rubber to let the plexi slide in, but I did this 3 years ago, so it seems like ages ago.

Hi
i managed to get some of the 1/2 inch frames sent over from USA but am struggling to get nylon rollers to fit.
i got the d1758 and they came with steel rollers, I also tried to get nylon rollers but they where too wide.
I have tried to find some rollers to fit but so far I have failed, either they are not listed by people on line or they will not ship to uk.
now to the question, does anyone know of a supplier that not only has nylon 9/32 wide rollers but will also ship to uk?
thanks
phil
