Setting Up The "TRUNK" on a Sundancer

I use inflatable fenders that are stored under the seats for when I leave the dock and a wireless air pump as there is just not enough space to store Big B’s in the trunk. The rest of the truck I used Yacht Organizer products to mount all the stuff I wanted out of the way for quick access.

In my 450, I keep a few fenders in the rear locker. A magma grill with its stand and some swim toys and not much else. I have travelled with a 6hp 2 stroke back there but now store a 4stroke upright in front of my generator on a removable stand. As far as the hose situation, I leave a coiled house beneath the cockpit sink. There is a hose spigot in the storage area and the hose stores away behind the curtain. Hose is great with a small pointy nozzle bc it is perfect for cleaning up chips and whatever else. No way you will get any usable fender in the 4(0 anchor locker. The hose in the anchor locker is really a great addition on this boat. All lines get stored in the smaller locker next to my ice maker for easy access.

The biggest upgrade I've made to my transom locker was to switch to a 10' hose with quick disconnect and two 15' shore power cables. This both de-clutters the locker but also takes some of the PITA factor out of pushing off the dock for the day. I never disconnect them from inside the locker and they only take two seconds to roll up.

I also love the collapsible hoses. I have three of 50' rigs. I keep one at the dock always hooked up, one in the transom locker and one at the anchor washdown. Those things are ideal for boating...

I hang all of my electrical adapters from the straps inside the locker. I keep my lines stored behind my cockpit fold-out step.

sorry to hijack - do you like the Hurley H30? The boat I have on deposit has one and the owner states he loves it.

I love mine but if you are doing a light dinghy a manual winch is fine but if you are doing a ski get the electric winch upgrade.

Dang, that’s a nice trunk!

So wait, you have a hydraulic platform and the H3O system?? How do you like the setup?
no hydraulic. my boat did not come with one. Looked at Sea Lift at the boat show and love it but $35k just does not make sense at this time. So I will continue with my Hurley

I do like it. The extension is a slick add-on too. Having so much room when the dink is up is a luxury. The only downside to the H30 (other than it not being a hydraulic platform) is finding the right tiedown strategy, particularly with the extension.

And I'll echo the electric winch part. Winching by hand is no way to go through life...

My boat has a central vac system that I never use. I am probably going to remove it at some point.

BUT, if I had a central air pump? That would get used all of the time.

I put this rubber decking product in the bottom of all topside compartments. Pic might be turned but you can still see the product. Got off amazon cuts nicely with box knife, comes in many colors to match your boat style, about 1/2-5/8 thick, playable and durable.

They look to me like removable boarding handles for the swim platform.

Manufacturer picture for Easy Up handles.

I want one for my boat if admiral will let me!
Also want to get the handels but only can find links to platform manufactures requiring a quote process. Anyone knows who retails them. At my age an easy up helps.
