Setting Up The "TRUNK" on a Sundancer

I just removed the 1500 lb electric davit system that came with the boat :)[/QUOTE]

What brand/kind of davit system did you remove

Is it a manual lift? How much are you asking?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

It's electric.

I gave it to the selling Broker in CA.

He would be the one to contact regarding it's sale & shipping.

PM me if interested, and I can provide the contact info.

BEST !

inside the trunk, I added a board along the inside wall of the aft seat backrest (along the top), with 10 tie-straps for dock lines. These lines are only used for when I travel.
I keep a collapsable bucket inside as well, only used when i travel.
For power lines and water lines, I use round storage bins found at Campers World. A 50' cord stores neatly inside. I stack 2, and then another is used for my water hose. These are pushed to the stbd. side of the trunk. Again, only when i travel.
My shore power is rigged so I just unplug and store at the dock when I leave. The water line is on a quick-disconnect, and stored the same way. They are both strung along the dock so as not to interfere with coming and going.
I find 2 of the large fenders will fit in the trunk for my trips, along with my brushes and mop head, and cleaning supplies. A lot goes in there, but it stores well.

In my 450, I keep a few fenders in the rear locker. A magma grill with its stand and some swim toys and not much else. I have travelled with a 6hp 2 stroke back there but now store a 4stroke upright in front of my generator on a removable stand. As far as the hose situation, I leave a coiled house beneath the cockpit sink. There is a hose spigot in the storage area and the hose stores away behind the curtain. Hose is great with a small pointy nozzle bc it is perfect for cleaning up chips and whatever else. No way you will get any usable fender in the 4(0 anchor locker. The hose in the anchor locker is really a great addition on this boat. All lines get stored in the smaller locker next to my ice maker for easy access.

Where’d you get those cool straps for the lines?

Correct that is exactly what they are. Love them for getting out of the water.

We have had the P-Handles for a couple seasons. They are great addition.

How sturdy are they? For example if big guy is leaning away from the boat as he comes up ladder, would they bend? I scuba dive from my boat, so I could have a lot of weight hanging off my back. Just want to make sure they would support me and other divers.

I use inflatable fenders that are stored under the seats for when I leave the dock and a wireless air pump as there is just not enough space to store Big B’s in the trunk. The rest of the truck I used Yacht Organizer products to mount all the stuff I wanted out of the way for quick access.
