I get the picture...intrepid boaters who can brave the northwest passage don't use rear view mirrors. However, we boat on a lake that is really more of a river with some wide spots. There are literally some passages that will not comfortably accept three boats at the same time. Unlike many of you, there are also some complete idiots on our lake...all with apparently more horsepower than sense. They seem to have an amazing propensity to be able to appear from absolutely no where. For me, a rear view mirror was simply an additional safety device. After reading this thread, I will probably have to order the Sea Ray fuzzy dice for it, but Sea Ray makes a really nice cruiser sized mirror with a glare shield and adapters to fit the factory windshield.

I agree with you on seeing behind you. I mean, you've got them in cars - why not in boats? That's the OEM ski mirror you've got pictured there - I have a generic version of that (CIPA), but I keep it up most of the time, too.

You could not be more wrong. Show me one other time that Manning has blamed his teamates for somthing that has gone wrong, aside from that now famous U-tube vid. I can think of maybe one other time, when he said his O-line could block better, but that's about it. Show me where he has ever got on the air and said anything derrogatory about his team or his opponets. He is a class act, pure and simple. Those who can live up to his example are jealous, that's all.
Your argument does not hold water.....or prove me wrong. (As someone who has seen EVERY Colts game since 1983, I think I can comment on this with some knowledge, how many games have you seen? Just snipets on the NFL channel right? That's BS, those guys need to stir controversy to keep the ratings. Do some reasearch. Now of course, none of this applies to my comments about Tom Brady :grin
All right, I will stir the sh!t. When Peyton goes 4 and 0 in super bowls...... oh thats right he LOST one, he is not the greatest ever, nor is Tom Brady!

Scott I think the Bay area guys are picking on you. Thats OK though as they haven't had any football to watch in that area for quite some time. I think it was right around the time Steve Young left that the Niners ceased to be.
