Okay, war is ugly. Men do bad things. We've all heard of the rare incidents of rape, torture, and murder, but come on. Trial by court martial for three Navy seals? The charge is that one of them punched the most wanted terrorist murderer in Iraq in the mouth and the other two watched? Ahmed Hashim Abed got a bloody lip after he murdered countless Americans. His captors get brought up on charges. These guys are American heros and that's how they are treated? What an embarassment to our nation. WTF? We need George W. back. He may not have been the best president, but things like this would never have happened under his watch. How maddening.

This PC, touchy feely, self-deprecating, appologetic foreign policy is going to destroy this nation and get us all killed. I'm really pissed after reading this story. Enough is enough. I don't want to take down my flag, but I don't want to fly it in support of the current trends in American politics. I feel like I fly it out of nostalgia. This is not the country I know.

I wanted to puke when I heard this, they should get a medal for capturing this peace of sh!t.

Just goes to show were this adminisrations heads at.
 
So now were blaming Obama on this as well? PLEASE. W would have had no power do intervene just like O has no power to intervne in military issues. I spent years in the Military and the MP's are world onto themselves.

My bad, I thought he was the COMMANDER IN CHIEF of the United States Armed Forces.

He'll prosecute these American heroes, then turn around and give the stage to the 9-11 terrorists so they can spout their venom in a worldwide media circus, and compromise U.S. intelligence.

How many of you would support a military coup? I would. Just imagine jailing Biden, Frank, Pelosi, and Geithner as traiters of the constitution and appointing qualified experienced people to fill these positions. Who else should be on that list?

Do you think this could be a matter of 'going through the motions' without much consequence. In other words, they're just going to get a slap on the wrist?

Hopefully, but either way, it's bad press. It's bad for morale. It's a boost for terrorists. The whole concept of terrorism is to affect our moods and our daily lives. Extremists want to wipe us out, but realize that this may not be a realistic goal. For them, the next best thing is to ruin our way of life - to remove our freedoms. The TSA has accomplished this on their behalves in the travel industry. Our leadership is accomplishing it in most other regards.

I agree. You bring up some good points. Does punching a detainee in the face classify as a 'war crime'?

Good thing thay didn't have to shoot him, they could be on trial for murder.
