potbelly pig on the boat

Yes overheating is a HUGE problem with Pigs as they cant sweat as you know I am sure. Ko-Jac uses his all powerful snout and makes a big hole in the sand. Of course our 2 dogs gladly help out with the digging part of the hole. We also use sunscreen on Ko-Jac and many times during the course of the day wet him down with a towel. We have several umbrella's we bring along and will put out for him, but they are really hit and miss with him. He is pretty strong willed or "PIG HEADED". He knows what he wants and likes and getting him to do something outside of that is some what of a challenge.

One night a man walks into a bar with a pig. The
bartender says to the man, "That's a great looking
pig, but why does he have a wooden leg?"

So the man says, "Let me tell you about this pig.
He is one special pig. One night my house was on
fire and he dragged me to safety. Saved my life."

The bartender says. "Well, that's great. But why
does he have a wooden leg?"

The man says, "Let me tell you about this pig. He
is one special pig. One time I was out sailing and
the boat capsized. This pig swam me to safety.
Saved my life."

The bartender says, "That's really terrific, but
why the wooden leg?"

The man says, "Let me tell you about this pig. He
is one special pig. Last week during an earthquake
my house collapsed and my pig pulled me out. Saved
my life."

And finally the bartender says,"Wow, that is one
special pig. He saved you from a fire, an
earthquake and from drowning. But why does he have
a wooden leg?"

The man says, "When you have a pig this special
you can't eat all of it at once.

Your jokes suck, stand up comedy did not work for you for your day job,I see,but I think Mcdonalds is hiring.

If you go to a garage that has service trucks for field work they have a lift system on them that is good for lifting what you want with a long reach. Most are 100% manual and based on the ones we had are very solid. They are made of steel so you will need a good coating. The garage should be able to tell you where they purchased it. Mounting any lifting device on a small boat might be difficult due to the integrety of the boat.
In the 70ies we used what were called Gin poles to lift heavy things they were two poles that fit together in a V. The two poles fit on either side of the truck bed the V was held in place with a single cable at the point the poles joined and you used your winch to lift things. Old paddle wheel boats used them.

capt. sundancer has NO sense of humor what-so-evahhh !!

Its not about a sense of humor. Hes looking for help and if you have nothing helpful dont post. If only you all posted something on here looking for an answer and every time someone responded with a joke....its get old fast for you as well. The way he looks at it, comparably you are making fun of one of his kids.

Thank you, and actually one of the CSR members has solved our problem. We are so GRATEFUL! We endured alot of harrassment but in the end it has been forgotten and we got the help and answers we needed right here on CSR, and isn't that REALLY what it is all about?

If you can't take a little ribbing: don't do anything that might lead to such, or have something others might laugh about. Don't have a rusty Chevy truck, a Dodge, or a F#(?ed over rebuilt dodge. Others will have a laugh. Don't walk or talk funny, be a blonde cause that's a laugh too. I'm sure all this rolls off Ko-Jac's back and he doesn't sweat it. So laugh at simple clean jokes get the help you desire or don't put so much of your personal life out there that may find unusual or funny. I like my ribbing slow smoked and light on the barbecue sauce, and don't laugh at me.

Mike so if we don't live up to your standards it is wrong. If we don't drive a brand new car it is wrong, how about we start making fun of one of your children. Pick one I'm sure there are lots of things that we can all find wrong with which every child you want us to make fun of. The history started last year when 2 people were driven away from this board by the people that post here because we did not approve of the pet they chose, well we all had a good laugh I know I did but enough is enough.

My ignore list has gotten so large that it none much matters anymore. Rick and I did leave because of all the childish behavior and uncalled for "HUMOR", although making jokes about killing and eating one of my family members never did strike me as humor. TO EACH THEIR OWN! It all left a pretty nasty and foul taste in my mouth about the "MAJORITY" of members on here. BUT.... So far 5 members have come forth (4 in private...... AND I DONT BLAME THEM), about their pot belly pigs or mini pigs. Ko-Jac is highly thought of amongst our small community. He has done several community service events. He always brings smiles to faces, some faces who havent seen smiles in quite some time. WE ARE VERY PROUD OF KO-JAC! Make all the corny stupid ridiculous cracks you want, it isnt going to change the fact that Ko-Jac is a pig, a member of our family that we love and take with us on our boat! If you dont like reading about him, do yourself a favor IGNORE RICK AND I PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We did come here looking for suggestions and help with a problem we had. Safely loading Ko-Jac from the beach to the boat. Finally in the truest spirit of boating and a boater, our problem has been solved. We are ever so grateful....Through the course of all the harassment and judging dished out, we ended up the true "winners", as we have met and made some amazing people, boaters, and friends in our quest for the answer to our question. Just one more thing you hecklers dont have the power to take away from us.

Ken, are problem is getting him from the swim platform in to the Sweet T. From the dock to the boat and from the boat to the dock, not a problem. And he can get in and out of the Jon boat on his own. Thanks to a CSR member who completely get the entire dept of the problem, he provided a solution. :)

LA, I'm glad someone was able to help you with your problem and provide a solution. It's what this site is about. I know that we can get a little side ways with jokes but we are equal opportunity offenders. There isn't one person here that hasn't been poked at in some way. Take a look at some of the political post from last winter.

Anyway, if I've offended you or anyone here it's not through personal attack but by principal of a discussion. I am glad to see you and Sundancer back.

BTW MM, I pull Old Skool with my wife’s 7 passenger goober mobile. Hope you don't hold it against me. LOL.
