350.00 on e-bay, I think I'll put Solaire on X-mas list, just have to fabricate a mount for itThose are nice grills Four Suns!!
but I was unaware of it when I bought the Magma Newport. Still I'm happy with it. Maybe ignorance is bliss......
I have the same set-up, (Floriduramax) I copied, but not too impressed w/the newport grill. Might be time to get the Soliare and fabricate the mount to work on the swim platformI'm happy with my set up. As Mike pointed out I have mine on under the swimstep lid.
I'm sure a Solaire can be mounted on the Magma pedestal. It looks like a great grill, but I was unaware of it when I bought the Magma Newport. Still I'm happy with it. Maybe ignorance is bliss......
We are a TEC dealer and install the new Cherokee infra red in the storage bays of luxury buses. Very good cooking grill.I have the SS version of the Solaire. The actual unit construction is "OK"... it's not like a the Firemagic grill construction I have here at the house ( http://www.firemagicgasgrills.com/ --- built for a nuclear war). It's better quality than a Magma but it's not the 1/4" plate steel stuff... The magic on the Solaire is the infrared element... it's wonderful to cook on. Here's some actual shots of mine:

Damn... now I'm hungry...
My next boat is going to have a custom made infrared grill built in... None of that mamby-pamby electric element poop they put on boats now.
