Hello all! We're enjoying a '95 Signature 200. Bought it last year after 5 years with a 190 ss chaparrel. Huge difference in the ride. The 4 barrel Rochester Quadrajet with the 5.0 merc is a blast!!

Hello All, I'm about to buy a 1989 200 Cuddy. I have been looking at boats for a while. I almost bought a 240 cuddy, was just about to hand the guy the cash and remembered to pull the dipstick. Oil was milky. Glad I checked, should have been the first thing I did. So I kept looking and found this 200. It looks really good and well maintained. I asked the owner if I could pick it up and have my mechanic check it over. He said absolutely, come get it. That made me feel really good about dealing with him. I haven't given him any money and he let me bring it home. I had a mechanic buddy check it over. He said the motor was tight, which in mechanic lingo, means good to go. I did have to put a new alternator and battery. I have ran her for two days. She fires up on first turn and sounds strong. I had three adults and three children on her yesterday in rough lake conditions. She ran out at 37 mph (4.3 mercruiser). I would like to get more speed out of her and maybe some of you have some recommendations. I will post pictures soon. I guess I'm gonna get her, I have no reason not to..

New guy here....just bought a 1992 Sea Ray 200. Looks like the boat spent most of its life on a lake near Florence SC, and then moved on to the Missouri area...I believe I am the 3rd owner. I have every piece of paperwork, owners portfolio...etc since new. Top part of the hull is oxidized, but the is in very good shape. No gouges or major scratches on it really. The interior has amazingly clean original upholstery. No rips, or fading on any of the seats at all! 4.3 Mercruiser starts right up and runs very smooth. Has the sport seating. Currently, I am working on replacing some of the wood behind the rear bench seat. The center back panel directly in front of the engine was a little soft, almost have that complete. Replacing the CD player with an IPOD/Bluetooth unit, and upgrading the 4 speakers. Only other things I have seen that need attention so far...the trim gauge is inop...and of course, buffing the upper part of the boat. After that, clean up the trailer a bit...redo some lights and wiring and a few minor things there, and ready to float! Pics coming soon...

Can anyone tell me how to find out what the specific vinyl color are on my 1989 200cc? The colors are white and burgundy but I'm looking for the actual color name and number.

Hi all - new owner of a 1992 200 Overnighter LTD on Lake Union in Seattle, scored a great deal on a mint condition boat to be able to keep in the slip under our building (a dream come true). During my checkout of the boat, I noticed a +/- 5 deg tracking wander when the steering wheel is stationary. Prior owner said she never noticed anything to that effect, and the SeaRay dealer in town says this kind of motion is typical based on prop torque. I grew up on a 1990 210 Bowrider and never noticed this kind of motion. Maintaining a straight course requires nearly 1 revolution counter steer in either direction, and I was curious to see whether this is typical of other 200 owners. Any insight would be appreciated!

New owner to a 1994 200 Signature BR that I picked up for a literal steal with a brand new (not rebuilt) Merc 5.0 V8.

Has anyone found a replacement for the stereo splash guard? It sits below the gauge cluster. Mine is intact, but missing the little push in clip that holds it shut.

1994 200 Overnighter, Single Axle Easy Load'r Galvanized Trailer, 2009 Chevy Trailblazer
    Single 1994 Mercury Black Max V135 O/B
Purchased a 1994 Sea Ray 200 Signature Overnighter last year. Only had it out 3 times after I did some maintenance. But it is in great shape. I'm going to show of list of items done, mostly to see if I've forgotten anything.

    Trailer:
    Galvanized roller bunk trailer
New Wiring, New LED lights, New Winch Strap, New Tires, New Bearings. Added bolt on self-retracting transom straps.
Still could use new rollers, existing rollers are dry rotted and cracked

    1994 Mercury Black Max 135HP:
Tear Down/Serviced the Starter, New Plugs, New Impeller. Water Pump and gaskets looked new and confirmed the sellers repair comments.
Ordering for spring: 2 new thermostats just in case, looking into plug wires just in case. Likely to replace the water line between the thermostats as it is showing some crackling but has not failed.

    1994 200 Overnighter.
Upgraded battery to Group 27 Exide and new tray as old was Group 21 with no strap.
New Fuel hoses/bulb, new water separating unit, new fuel tank float. New horn and switch, new dash switches, serviced hydraulic steering system. Replaced tach (needle was off post the original at purchase)
Ready to install at spring: New depth Sounder, remove speedometer and hose (pickup is in the lower unit) and replace with Faria GPS speedometer gauge. Upgrade original manual 350gph bilge pump (3/4" corrugated hose) with new Rule LP900 automatic bilge pump with 1-1/8" through hull and smooth bore hose. Looking into a cockpit canvas as it was missing and also has the convertible top frame and boot but no top canvas. Probably will not replace the C-Top this year.

I was getting about 35mph GPS at 3/4 throttle cruising RPM, and am happy with that, but not sure if it could do better as this is my first V-Hull.

Anyone have the same radio I do...Its the XM in the glove box. Only two speakers and not much sound underway. So I've got my 200 Select and I'm adding LED's when I notice there is a place in the rear that is prewired for speakers...I assume an option that the original owner didn't get. Do they make factory boxes that sit back in the back where the wires are like the ones installed under the console?

I don't have mine handy to look at, does the frame open up to put new glass in, or do you need to replace the full piece, frame and all? There are a few custom glass places near me, might be the same in your area. if you remove the whole frame from that side and bring it to a glass shop they should be able to cut a piece and reframe it. Or at the least order it. My '94 doesn't have a curve to the glass so if yours is similar that'd be the way I went. My employer has done business with this company.
