OK... so it appears the wind maps (and forecast) are updated every 12 hours (10 and 22 GMT) and are derived from the real Indian Ocean data.... My son has discovered (on "Best Sun") that you can get the "real" windmaps online (which are updated every 3 hours) so you won't get hosed by a 12 hour update in this stupid program that you weren't expecting. That's why we are heading off to the north of the island and will make a quick loop back to pass the marker to port... better predictions from elsewhere on the Internet.

Doesn't look like Todd, who is heading off to the north, knows you have to round that marker on your port side... And Mr. I'll-cross-the-ocean-in-my-dinky-boat can't even navigate.

Looks like Chuck pulled into the marina on the island for some fuel or rum or something :huh: Maybe picked up some dancin girls :smt038 for the party after this leg.

Have you guys seen the next leg!! :smt101 Its going to take a month to finish, it winds all over the place.
