One other question. The Master Stateroom interior temp is way off, reads 93 degrees consistently. Is there a specific temp. sensor I need to check/replace? Or could it be something else?

In the manual, it will tell you how to calibrate what you have. Try that first. If that does not fix it, a new temp sensor is less than $50.

Ok another question.

The original bedding in both main cabin and v berth needs to be replaced. In the v berth it was easy to remove the original material from the starboard cushions. The port vberth cusion seems to permanently mounted in the boat. Is there a trick to remove it so I can take the marerial off and have a new cover made?? Help!!! :)
 
Not positive, but I seem to remember cushions are secured with screws from underneath. Open doors to cabinets below berth to find the screws. Hope this helps.

Yep, six screws. Lifted right out. Now to find an upholstery company!! Lol
 
Does anyone know how to remove the TV in the aft stateroom(06 MY)?Can't seem to find anything. Pulled the access panel to the salon ac's and found the salon TV bolts for removal, but can't access the aft. Any suggestions?

My boat is all wrapped up for the winter or I would look, but I believe on mine there is an access panel in the floor of the cabinet above the TV.
 
Mine has (well had) a panel in the cabinet above the tv. In process of upgrading now.

Mine for some reason does not. Just the shelf with no visible screws etc. Was it like an access panel screwed in the shelf itself? If so I may need to create one. Thnx
 
The shelf was screwed down and lifted out. Gotta be a way in there someplace. How are you approaching upgrading the salon TV?
 
I bought an LG 28". If you remove the corner piece on the starboard salon couch, there is an access door for the ac's. You can get to the back of the tv from there.
 
Hey team, I am getting fresh water into the enclosed trough below the Starboard Engine. After it builds up it then leaks into the open trough under the engine. I am trying to figure out the source of the water.

Does anyone know of any documents that would show a better structural overview?

I am considering buying a SR 390 MY. I love the looks of the boat, but I am concerned about two things:
a) Should I need to repower an engine ( i hope that is not the case), how in the world could a shop replace them?, Could a motor fit through the cabin door?
The one I am looking at is a 2004 with 1100 hrs on Mercruisers. Is that way too high? The motors seem ok.
b) During the summer, does the cockpit get too hot? Is the AC unit strong enough to keep the cockpit cool?

I’m tracking the same problem on my 2005 390. The latest is a possible leak in the area where the fresh water pump and associated plumbing are. The boat is currently winterized but will be back in service in a couple of weeks. Open the access door behind the master suite head and see if you have evidence of a leak. My guess, if the leak is there it occurs after turning the pump off and pressure bleeds off. No leak running or with the pump on. It always seems to be the same amount of fresh water under the stbd engine..........
 
Happy Spring. Question on the power vent fan in the galley. I have a button but nothing happens when pushed. Other vents on head work fine. Breakers are all set correctly. Can't seem to even figure out where the vent fan is. Mine is a 2006 40 MY. Anybody have any insight?
 
Hi guys! I’m thinking about updating some of the electronics onboard and am wondering if we currently have the NMEA 2000 “backbone “ or if I need to update that as well? Any thoughts?
