Official 370 Sundancer thread

Maybe if we could get everyone to dig up pictures of how they use their 370. You know, pics taken under way, partying at the dock, having fun, that kind of stuff. I'm not trying to create more work for you but it was just a thought. Thanks, Mark

That's exactly the thought I had. So far, these are all boats that were up for sale and then some pictures I've accumulated from CSR over the past two years. Let's get some pictures of people having a good time. Pictures of repairs (Thanks Cliff!), pictures of how we made out boats better or more usable.

I put a contact form on the site, so you can just send me a message there and arrange to send pictures. (Still haven't figured out a way to have you add your own.)

Gene,
There are a couple of pics of my flat panel/DVD unit install I did this year in the salon at your site under Adagio. You could copy and put those in a new section.

There is a lot of nice pictures of a 1996 that is local in New Buffalo. Some would look great on that website. Name is the boat is Dilligaf (1996 370 Sundancer) on yachtworld.

Thought you guy's might like to see what I'm in the process of doing right now! I had the dealership install the lights and I'll be doing the wiring this weekend (more picts to follow!)

Very cool, Jason. Can't wait to see them at night.

jason what brand are your lights and specs and how much ? my 370 is out of the water for winter and im trying to figure what lights to buy any help whould be great.thank you

jc27,

I got my lights from http://www.aqualights.org/ I went with the AL75H to keep the cost down. The reason I went with aqua lights is they use the same fixture and I can upgrade the internals at a later date if I choose to. Plus they are American owned and operated and they gave me a military discount!

Hello, I love the lights....do they also offer colored lights or lenses? If so let me know! I would love to install them on my 330 "Dancer. Thank you so much!!!

Sorry about the prior question regarding colored lights...you left the E-dress and I clicked on it and lo-and-behold...32 colors....Too Cool!!! Thank you!!!:smt038

I looked at all 72 pictures..........twice..........I did not see one single upgrade to anything. I think all us 370 guys want to see some upgrades to get ideas for our boats, just my .02.

John

I looked at that Dilligaf boat in early 2007. I passed on it. The Broker, at the time, told me that the name, Dilligaf, was an acronym. Not a very nice saying either.

Not too many of us have diesel power in our 370's so I'm not sure if I can relate to your problem. I usually feel like I got hit by a truck the day after I do anything in my bilge but I found that things are alot easier if I remove the muffler and exhaust hoses. It only takes a few minutes to get the muffler out and it gives me a nice flat platform to lay on to reach the generator or the outboard side of the engines. Mark

My neighbor had a 2003 380DA with the 3126 CATs. I had a 2002 380DA with the 8.1s. Pretty much the same size bilge as the 370DA. I had a decent amount of room in my 380's bilge, but I remember helping him do some work in his bilge and it was a nightmare. It sure looked pretty with the hatch open, but getting to anything pretty much sucked!

I have the 3126 motors in my 410DA. Same basic motors as Aarrhh & Aarrhh , but I have a little over an extra foot of beam to work with. My port impeller is pretty easy to get to, as is most stuff on the inboard side of each motor. But getting to the outboard sides of either motor requires a little extra thought. I agree with Mark. To get to my stbd impeller, it's well worth the extra 30 minutes it takes to remove and then reinstall the exhaust tube to get there.

Oh...It helps to pre-meditate too!!!

Greetings all from another SeaRay 370DA (1996) We love the boat, a perfect size vessel for entertaining guests, she runs great being either the bay or the ocean. Just perfect for long weekend trips - we do frequent AC and Shelter Harbour (LBI). New to Club SeaRay - would like to know how to put photos on my messages..

Happy Holidays
