Re: Official 330 Sundancer Thread - Hidden water
I have had occasional water in the compartment where the fresh water pump is location under the aft bench/berth cushion that I was never able to find the source for. I finally found the source, but am not sure how to deal with it. There is a second small compartment behind the outside wall of the under-bench compartment that opens to that compartment through a small notch where the water tank fill/vent hoses come in. The floor of that compartment if about 1" below the bottom of the cross-over notch. That small compartment is full of water, so when it over-flows it drains into the pump compartment. I'm guessing the water is coming down the fill/vent hoses somehow into that compartment, but I don't see any place where that compartment has a drain that is clogged or doesn't have a drain at all. The notch is too small to get a hand pump into to pump it out. It appears the compartment is behind the inner side wall of the battery compartment, but I don't see any connections to it there either.
It's a 1994 model. Is anyone familiar with that small compartment and if it is supposed to have a drain somewhere that may be clogged, or had a similar problem that you found a fix for?
Thanks - Greg
