Thanks to both, I knew that someone here would know. I've contacted GG Schmitt and hope to hear back. I had perused the fpmarine site before I posted but I will ring them based on your advice. (Flounder Pounder happens to be local to me)

Your response was spot on. Someone from GG Schmitt responded this morning with the part number and the price. The replacement ladder is $245 plus shipping.

Wow, we have our own thread!!! It is pretty quite though. We brought ours home this past september, had a few weekends on her before having to put her away:(. love the extended swim platform, have four battery system with two controls, windless, full canvas, including one with screen custom made for cabin entry which i havnt seen before and canvas for over cockpit controls, electric flush head. Just some of the upgrades that made us look twice. With the 7.4 and bIII I cruise nice at 27 and top out at 44. Looking forward to getting to know her better in about three months.:smt038

Congrats! I got my 95 two years ago. It only had 280 hours on it. 7.4 BIII. Being a river boater it didnt get much use last summer because of bad wheather and flood stage high water. Because of that ive been seen setting it it in the driveway making motor sounds.

Love my 250 but may be moving up...getting ready to put offer on 300 Sundancer if the owner will call me back :smt021

Just got my 25DA this past Sept.
Lot's of work to do! (I think she was neglected for some time).
-water stains throughout headliner
-gash in head-door
-rotted side panels
-rotted stern bench
well, let's just say; She needs a little work to make her ready for the season. Trying to do most of the work myself. Truly a labor of love.
Would love to see some pics of other 25 footers.

Unsuccessful at down-loading some pics. Will try later!

Green anchors, great looking boat!! Love those lines and that platform...was that an add-on? Looks good!!

Thanks Reefer, My wife tells me its the only affair I'm allowed to have:huh: Sorry about your loss, I'm caught up now. I assure you good things always come to those that are patient and think before jumping. Yes it was an add on and looks like it always belonged. My wife and I were not looking at the time and this boat docked at a pier across from us in Canada, a little conversation with new friends and two weeks later we were buying a new boat for ourselves:smt038 I believe sometimes a boat can find there next owners:grin: I can tell you she is in better condition than many 2000+ we went through.

Here's some pics of my 25footer and some of the work that I'm doing over the winter months and months and months!:wow:

Thanks Green Anchors!

I used cabinet-grade plywood with high gloss enamel paint on my bench. I'm also replacing the Port side panel and the smaller panels aft of that, and below as well.
I'm learning a lot about vinyl replacement. It takes loads of patience and lots of staples!!!!:smt021
All nice problems to have!!!!!

Great Pics of your boat! Sooooooo that's what a 1990 25DA is suppose to look like!!!!!!!!!

Hey all. I just found this thread and though ours is a '94 250EC I think it's close enough.

Got her Sept of '10 and have been slowly making her our own. New camper canvas, 19" lcd tv, microwave and shelf, and turned the hanging locker into a pantry.

Now looking into ac/heat, inverters and more battery power.

Steve

I like the upgrades on yours. The microwave on top of the useless stove is a great idea.

It appears that we did the same upgrade of the head. The original in ours was a porta-potti that met the dumpster in the marina prior to my first real trip in the boat. I replaced it with a manual Jabsco and the plumbing didn't need any modifications.

Now the part that you don't want to hear.... we had the boat out last night to watch the space shuttle launch. The temps are forecast to be in the 80's all weekend so I anticipate that I will be buying more fuel by Sunday.

Cheers!
