Greetings,
Just took delivery on our new 240 Sundancer. Have been boating about one year and we moved up from a 20' bowrider. Really looking forward to being able to stay out longer on the cruiser. Splashed her for the first time last saturday. What a blast to drive. Bought from MM in Fort Walton Beach right after the local boat show of course.
Pictures to follow.
Welcome aboard. She looks like a beauty! Ennjoy your new boat and your stay here. There's a great bunch of people here and a ton to learn.

Hey All! WOW!!! Great to see so many other 240 owners!

I have an 03 W/ 5.0 MPI & Brvo III We've had her since new and spend almost every weekend of the summer aboard. Can't beat this boat!

I'm gonna try and get some picts. up as soon as I figure out how...

BTW... How do you get a pict. downsized enough to use it as an avatar and still be able to see it?? :smt101

Hmmm...this config sounds VERY familiar...lol! I love my 240 also and cant wait to get her back in the water in a few weeks. What area are you in?

Splashed this morning. 80 degrees, light breeze. Perfect.
I'm the only one on the pier.

Makc, We boat around the St. Louis area... Right around the confluence of the Mississippi & Illinois rivers. I posted a few picts. of mine in the virtual marina if you'd like to compare...

Love the information! We just purchased a 2006 (new) 240 DA, it's going into Narragnsett Bay in Mid May. I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one not sleeping!?! This is our first boat so we are learning so much from you guys...Thanks!

Pictures soon.

Welcome to the board!!! You picked a great boat! If you have any questions, just jump in and ask. Great folks here that love to help fellow boaters!

Scappare, welcome aboard. Enjoy your new 240! Mine's coming out of its long winter sleep tomorrow morning. The excitement is building. Now if we can just get some nice weather!

Have had 3 boats and 1 Waverunner. Still had some sleepless nights prior to delivery. Enjoy :smt038

Congratulations Scappare. You'll love your new boat. Lot's of friendly helpful people here. Don't be shy asking questions.

All you guys hitting the water are making me envious!!!
I can't get our boat out of the storage building until next Monday. Even then we have about two weeks of pre-season maintenance work scheduled for her before splash time. Just as well. As anyone here in the Mid-West can attest we are having some real Crap weather here right now.:smt089
For those that can, enjoy and have one for me!

Cheers,

Jim

Thanks for all the hello's. With all the anchor talk on prior pages, before they start the final prep stuff, should I have them at least install the "factory" anchor roller? Thanks again.
That's a "No-Brainer" :smt017 Do it! You'll be glad you did!

Ab-so-lutly! The option after the fact is good but there's nothing like a factory installed piece. I'd ask about how they will handle the tie off. I had to install an after market bollard to run the anchor line over the nav. light. Hopefully I'll get some pictures of it to post here soon.

Got a question for you guys... Have any of you thought about mounting a spotlight on your rigs? Thinking about mounting one to mine, and have somewhat of a plan but I'm always open to new ideas and what some of you may have already done.

Thanks
