Looks sharp! Shaun, what generator do you have on there

Thanks! My genny is reeeeally quite! I don't have one! Wish I did, but I did install an inverter and that runs both my fridges, ice maker, etc. Everything but the AC. As much as I'd love to have one, I don't feel I'd ever recoup the expense and would like to upgrade in the next couple years, so I'll probably wait for that luxury until I get the next boat.

Just paid mine off....generator is giving me an issue. Intalling the radar tomorrow, and two more LED's in the arch

Congrats on paying your baby off!! What arch are you installing? Aluminum or did you find a fiberglass one?

Fiberglass, but I'm putting the dome up on my hardtop. I've just got to figure out where the hell I'm going to run all these wires. Working on the generator later today

Good luck with the genny. I've got a loooong day of work ahead of me after 1.5hrs of sleep. After work I'm hoping to get to the boat and install my new cabin LED's and 360 LED light on the arch. Gonna relocate it there from the windshield.

It's supposed to be close tp 110 heat index again today, I'm not sure how much I will get done. Or even if I will go.

They are rebuilding my carb for the genny. I did get some of my lights done but I still need to run two more wires. Got the radar dome up but still need to run the wires for that as well. Ended up stretching the old girls props into the City of Richmond.

Have any pics of your blue and silver? That sounds very nice. I just ordered these today for the sides, not sure if I'm
Gonna put them on the arch or just ahead of it.

Here is one side. Sorry about the delay. This was the first day that I had a chance to spend some time on the boat. I took the picture with my phone right after I rinsed it down.
My boot stripe is a 3" Navy stripe with a 1" silver stripe above it. There is about an inch between the two stripes. It all ties in nicely in person with the emblems. My canvas is Navy too.

Gentlemen, I just bought a 1985 Weekender. I am also brand new to this forum. So forgive me if I am not posting correctly. I just gutted the interior because the bought sat for 3 years (wrapped and winterized on barrels) because mice got in there and I didn't like the urine smell!

Any suggestions on upholstery? The plywood is in fine condition. I think / hope the foam is ok. I was just thinking of getting some material on it and stapling it myself until I use the boat a while and decide what I want.

I also stripped the walls, and ceiling and was going to leave the ceiling exposed to see if and where any leaks may come in. Then after I decide what I want to to, I will either paint it or put some type of head liner in it.

I don't have a table so will have to get a tabletop and some hardware. Also no seating whatsoever on the rear deck. I was thinking of putting in something only for the captain, leave the rest open and put a round table and a couple of chairs in the back and maybe put in some type of bench. I like the idea of a lot of space in the back for people to congregate, hang out etc.

I have never owned a boat before and just know enough to be dangerous.

Any suggestions? Are any of my ideas just plain stupid?

Congrats on your new baby and happy 4th!!! On the boat now. Will reply to your questions later. Some great ppl and info here!!

Thanks, looking forward to getting some advice!

Be sure and post pics as you progress! eBay and Craigslist have been my biggest asset through my process. That is also where I got my new cabin table.

They look nice. I've been trying to get pictures to post with no luck. I've even tried Taptalk. It's my opinion I have no idea what I'm doing. I've gotten the radar in and started changing the lights below. Those old fixtures get very hot and put out tons of heat. If you can help with the pic issue.....

Start an account on photobucket.com. It's free. Upload pics to your photobucket. Then click on the image code, which will be the bottom of the 4 available codes. Then just copy that code and paste it into the reply post here. You can do this from a computer or download the photobucket app and do it from your mobile device. Let me know if you have any other probs. Can't wait to see your pics!!

thanks these are the reds that can also be soft whites. All of them can also be dimmed

Glad you got it figured out!! I like the reds. I may need to put those in my arch as I've heard the reds are better for bugs. I love my blue lights but they will draw the bugs in!!
