Shaun, you've got all the luck with LED's, I replaced all of my old dome lights down low yesterday with new LED white/red lighting and also placed two small cat eye light on my radar arch. On the top of the arch there are two Attwood stern lights. Do you know of any companies out there that makes a two way light to replace those? They are 3" round S'S and must be replaced, I just wanted to continue with the white/red for night boating.

As soon as I get the boat home I will snap some pics for posting. I wanted some that would switch from white to red for boating at night. I found two cats eyes for seat level and installed them inside the arch. I think the next chore will be bilge lighting, I have a switch for them but no lights were ever installed.

Can't wait to see the pics!! I've got a few more before and afters coming soon, too. Got the pin striping off and new canvas goes on this week so pics should be coming soon.

I appreciate your opinion. I've just looked at so many years and models and my overall opinion is I much prefer the look of the cleanness without pins. The great thing, though is its an easy fix if I change my mind!

My stripes on the sides of the cabin are gone too. They were removed by a PO. I like the clean look, but I kind of like the stripes too.
I replaced my boot stripe with a single dark blue, then after a few years I replaced it again. This time I went to local sign shop and got 3" wide navy blue, and 1" wide silver to put over it. It looks real sharp. He made up the "Sea Ray" logos on the sides of the cabin for me in a matching silver outlined by a thin navy blue.

Gonna put them on the arch or just ahead of it.

Has anyone added a deck cleat to their 300?
I'm looking to add an 8" deck cleat on the teak pulpit between the windlass and the anchor. I want to use it to tie the anchor line off to. I have a free fall windlass on my boat and I usually tie the anchor line off to one of the cleats off to the side of the pulpit, but this causes the boat to swing a bit which makes things uncomfortable in a crowded cove.
I picked up a nice stainless deck cleat from Westmarine today, and now I am trying to figure out what to do for a backing plate. 1/4" stainless would be real nice, but I can't fnd a local steel place to cut me a piece and drill the holes.

I'm removing the Sea Ray off my sides and replacing them with my Seahorse Logo. I do like the ovals tho. The boat comes home this weekend if the gen is fixed. Going up tomorrow afternoon to install the last of the cockpit LED's. Cabin lights are next, I want something I can dim down. Radar is old but can wait till winter.

I did not add one, but mine has one exactly where you're talking and I use it to tie my anchor off with so it can certainly be done. I can check next time I'm at the boat and see what's there for a backing plate.

I need to stay of eBay!! Just bought a new led mast light and plan to relocate it from the windshield to the radar arch. I also ordered 4 more led dome lights as a didn't end up liking the ones I got so I'm going to replace them....again! I keep buying this crap and I never get a chance to relax! Lol, oh well. Love to tinker with this stuff...especially LEDs!!

Yes..... but its so damm easy to shop & order!! Installed my LEDS over the weekend, just went direct to the battery, and mounted the supplied switch! looks GREAT!!! What a difference, I will do interior next, I want to install new dome over stove and then replace some of the bulbs in the lamps all w/LEDs.

Is there any other kind of beer!?!? The "L" seat is mounted with quick disconnects that came with it.
