My daughter came home

I am writing this to you from my son's bedside at Duke Hospital. He is 3 years old and was diagnosed with leukemia on February 3rd. He was in the hospital for the first 6 weeks and then home for a couple of months and then we just went back in a week ago today as he developed a fever. (happens sometimes with this cancer).

Hang in there - things get a lot better after you get a handle on the ins and outs of "luke". We have a website for our son; www.allaboutbenjaminb.shutterfly.com It has a daily log on our experience during the first phases of treatment. The folks on clubsearay were absolutely awesome with support during our darkest days in Feb and so were the folks at Sea Ray when they got wind of Ben's cancer from here. I can't tell you how many hours I have passed by at the hospital immersed in the clubsearay site. If you would like to talk anytime, send us a PM.

It seems based on your very positive attitude/post that she's going to be in great hands!

I will be praying for you. As stated in another thread, my Dad was diagnosed with Acute Onset Leukemia (the worst one), last spring. He had a bone marrow transplant last August. He is doing well and the prognosis is very good, just a long, long process. There are many, many success stories out there, I am sure your Daughter will be added to that list.
 
Our prayers are with her! Keep the faith and it will all work out.

Every friday my wife goes to church and today she burned candles for your daughter.
