Month Long Cruise through New England - Four Suns

I need to go see if I can stay here another night. The weather here has just been terrible but looks like it is clearing up this morning... I have an updated post.

yeaaay! Awesome update. Sorry for the bad weather you are having. Does look like a great place IF you are able to go out and actually enjoy it.

wow, that one pic of what looks like a tornado forming is pretty scary looking.

Those clouds were all the way to the ground/water and the VHF marine radio was reporting water spouts so I don't really know what it was... It was scarey though.

You know Gary, you should really switch to boxers. They don't cut off the circulation while working in tight places.

 Or nothing underneath. Havent worn any undergarments since about 1991. TMI?

Thanks for the beer offer. Actually, you could have brought me a 12-pack and I would have paid you since some little birdie told me there is a package store up by your business.

"There is no room at the inn" here for tonight so we are going to shove off to Block Island. There are small craft advisories and supposidly 5 foot seas but we'll just plow through it I guess. If you don't hear from me tonight, I died.

We made it to Block Island. Lost my primary GPS (the auto fail over to the backup kicked in) and 3 people got sick in the rollers... how fun.

Gary,
thanks for awesome blog. You have a gift for that stuff, that’s for sure.

One thing that really surprised me is the number of repairs you had to do on such a fresh boat. I know you use your boat a lot, but you also know all the tricks to keep it in the top shape.

BTW, did the new hose for $70 resolve the leak issue?

You guys need some sun. I really hope it will come soon.

The story about Susie and shaver is hilarious. I love your picures, please take some more.

Alex.

When Gary said 'buzzzzz buzzzz', for some reason I wasn't thinking toothbrush or shaver....

Neither was I and then he said he was peeking and I was almost afraid so scroll down the rest of the way in fear of what kind of pictures Gary had taken of his wife and her buzzzzz buzzz

The place is filling up here and my voltage on the boat for shore power just dropped to 190 volts and my AC will not run (nor my TV/AV equipment). The response from the dock hands was "that's all we can do for you."...

Great....

Wait till they start rafting up boats next to you and you have people walking across your swim platform at 3am......and shorepower cords draped everywhere....

Funny thing would be to lower your platform so it's under water. then take pics of them trying to figure out how to get across.

I like it when the ladies wear their high heels and walk across your boat or the guys wear black soled shoes and leave scuff marks all over the boat....The best is when the chic tries to make it back to the boat not trying to spill her merlot....They never make that one!!! Now you know why I will only go in the early spring or fall....Great place though

I would probably feed the owls on that trip too. I dove on a submarine southeast of block and I know the feeling. Try getting back on a boat with 80lbs of gear on your back in that kind of weather. Block island looks great. Hopefully the weather will be nice. I'm stuck at work this weekend so your blog is the only boating I get this weekend.

Hey Gary, I don't know if anyone else is having the same trouble with your blog as me but, everytime I try to log on my password does not work. I have to go in and change my password then re write my comment. Maybe that's a good thing, or are you trying to tell me something. Ha, Mike
