Sorry for the late reply. I would think you could hang in the cove in Bluepoint, just west of Patchogue River. Def. would be less hectic and you could still see the works. hope you had a good time. Todd

It's a 44DB and all are welcome....we've been at Watch Hill since a week ago Thursday. Stop by and say hello and have a beer, I'm in slip D5. I may need a new liver before this weekend is over. I wouldn't leave the slip to see the Davis Park fireworks. I did that when we had the 320 and it was INSANE when the show was over, never again. Let the party resume.....:smt038:smt038

A 44DB (correction)

Brian, I am sorry I missed this post. I would have stopped by, we were just across in D30.

My wife was down on your dock, making new friends with the end boat (I guess in D1). If you tripped over a double stroller with kids in it, that was my gang.

....Onward to liver detox. This activated charcoal tastes like crap.

Paul, it would have been good to catch up over a few beers. I'm sure I saw the double stroller somewhere this weekend....though it could've been a single that I saw doubles of. Joe and Felicia in D1 are good folks. I'll be back at Watch Hill this weekend (though the boat is currently there hosting my daughter and four of her friends). :smt009

Glad to hear Greg, the AC thing sounds like a lot of fun just a little to far to travel for us.

Hey Alex,

Also glad to hear - would like to hear about your Hudson trip.

Hey guys, I guess by now everyone has the shrinkwrap off their boats....LOL. Did anyone else decide to join us?

Here's a quick note for the team that's going to Shelter Island raft-up:

Hazards inside the Harbor...

There are three major areas on concern inside Coecles Harbor
  • Sandbars at the Entrance to Coecles Harbor: See Above
  • Sandbar off Little Ram Island: See Above
  • Rocks and Shallows off Taylor Island:
Taylor Island (or Cedar Island) is the home of a beautiful old home. While it is a fun place to look at and explore, make sure to stay clear while traveling down the channel. The East, North and Western shore do have rocks that are far enough out to do some damage to the curious boater.
