Im really enjoying this thread. Being a life long Lake Erie resident, its amazing to see how many really beautiful spots there are on the other Great Lakes. Lets keep em coming! We are lucky to live in such a boating rich area...for part of the year, anyway.

Glenn,
Looks like you guys had a great trip too. We should be back in at Wheelers this week sometime.

Great pictures all. Thanks to all of you for posting them. Makes this old Saginaw guy kinda homesick for the Great Lakes.

Getaway, from the looks of this photo you're gonna have your hands full in just few years keeping the suitors away from your kids. Great looking bunch.

Thanks GFC! They are all characters and have their own very unique personalities.

They sure love the boating life and I'm fortunate the boys like to fish too! We love the 268, but I can see that getting pretty cramped in the near future. :smt100

One extreme to another.

Aquapalooza on Lake St. Clair.

The sunset ride home from dinner on the water last night.

A few from the last week in Rochester on Lake Ontario.

and then this monster came by, I think it's a 70ft Viking motoryacht which docks in the genesee river off lake ontario in Rochester.

Raft off in little muscamoot. The airplane wing is pointing to my boat. Right between the "G" and the "3" in the logo.

That was amazing to see all the boats headed that way. I was headed down river and it was boats all over. I was glad to get out of there. Looked like lots of unsafe people.

That's the "raft off". It's a little more than a normal weekend thing. It used to be organized. Now it's just an event that is basically word of mouth and tradition.

I'm looking for Jobbie Nooner but I haven't found anything I can post here yet. We were there this year and you could barely see the island through the boats.

As far as raft off traffic is concerned, I was right in the thick of it and I was pleasantly surprised. Almost everyone was taking it easy on the way in and out. You get the occasional dummy though.
