Sounds good to me, I've heard great things about Jane's cooking:thumbsup:

Cool Gerald. I hope y'all make it. Sell the bike not the boat:smt038

LOL.... well, the Harley gets about 25 times the fun/mpg ratio that our Sea Ray does, and I can enjoy it almost every day - as opposed to a weekend every couple of weeks or so during the summer. And it is exactly what I want. Conversely, I got twofootitis within a year after buying "Offroad Dancer". If we do sell the boat, I figure that our financial situation cannot last forever, and not having a boat will be a good excuse to talk the Admiral into getting another one (......except a couple feet longer LOL). The main thing now is that the boat is free-and-clear and selling it would give us immediate cashflow.... the Harley would just pay its own note off and not really help us. That's what I tell the Admiral anyway and how I justify keeping the Harley

If we don't sell Offorad Dancer I'm sure that will be fine too. It's just that this year has been murder on our finances. I'm 52 yrs old and never been in this situation so I'm hopeful it's a temporary thing... Life takes another turn and it's okay. Really.

What would be the plan for this year? Buddy's Island again, or maybe the Big Dogs can follow us up to the waterfall this time? Buddy's Island was fun last year; as a matter of fact we spent the night there again on the hook a couple of weeks ago. Although, the waterfall might be interesting during the day for those who haven't experienced the crazyness LOL. The waterfall is Party Heat central during the day, but if we stayed there overnight it would be all ours.... everyone leaves come sundown.

Heck if we got there early enough we could just raft up right in front of the waterfall and take it over before any body else gets there.

I am off 9/4 9/5 and 9/6. I work the last weekend in August and the weekend of 9/11 9/12 9/13. Ya'll plan this so the most people can come. I understand my work schedule is a problem.

My wife says she will bring choclate cake(s).

We'd have to wait for the partiers to leave; then move in at dusk. If you want to beat 'em in before the next morning, that's gotta be before 9:30am. After that they start filtering in. By 11am we will have lost it. By noon it gets crazy.

It WOULD be a lotta fun to have a raftup of SeaRays hogging the beachhead at the falls when everyone else starts showing up for the holiday.

As long as my outage doesn't kick off early, I can make the trip, over the labor day holiday weekend.

As far as a launch ramp, Duke Energy has an employee ramp with docks. I'll have to find out the paticulars of guests usage. But it is located mid lake near the nuke plant, off hwy 130. I'll make some calls.

Nicky, as far as cooks go, you have an experienced chef right on your boat! It's been awhile but I can faintly remember eating at Early Times restruant. lol.

I just called the Oconee N.S. security dept. and there is no problem with me having guests use the facility. There are bathrooms, picnic pavillion, beach, docks w/o power, and secure parking. If there is any interest, let me know. I'll make up some guess passes.

Man this is looking good... Secure launching and parking, dates are working for Paul, not to much salt for Wesley, the planets must be aligning just right.

Yes, definately Mike and thanks. That would be great for us because we would like to do Jocassee Fri/Sat and then put in Keowee Sun morn.
