Are we going to do another Keowee raftup this year?
 
Where is the Keowee Gang?

If you don't want to use the steep ramp at the marina, what other ramps would the locals recommend?

I think Memorial Day is already gone, how about Labor Day weekend (Grin)
 
My Bad, can't keep track of the holidays, since we are at Keowee most weekends any way we can be very flexible. So what ever works for everyone else we can adjust.
 
Hello everyone... Labor Day weekend sounds terrific..... If it's on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The admiral and I will be returning from the beach on Saturday, 9/5. Is Sunday out of the question?

Ringy Dinghy - I'm happy to help be "Cruise Director" up until the week prior. I know at a minimum we can rally the other Sea Ray owner's that we boat with on Keowee. For those that would like to stay overnight at the marina, I'm happy to check with the owner of the marina to see if he'll have any transient slips open.

I'll keep an eye on this thread....

Ryan - Great to hear from you. I'm hoping to do a least a day trip. Right now I'm open so what ever works for the group works for me.

janet and I are very interested, would like to meet the upstate gang. We would like to make a 3 day event out it. We will travel aprox 200 miles. So hopefully others are planning on more than a 1 day.
We missed last yrs gathering and have regreted it . So hope fully this will come to pass. CHUCK I EXPECT YOU TO BE THERE FOR MORE THAN A DAY:grin:

I think we ought to just hope for seeing him period.

We will make a weekend of it too. Would hopefully plan on launching Fri late afternoon.

Sounds like a plan. If the ramp at the marina is too steep there is a nice landing at Mill Creek, all so if I remember correctly there is a security guard. I know you have to pass a guard to enter.
 
Chuck, I knew you were just kidding, I got so excited about the raft up and a long weekend I couldnt keep my holidays straight.

Hey all! The Admiral, Durango, and I should be able to make it and of course would want to stay for more than a day. I work Friday nights so we could not arrive until midday Saturday, but after that could stay on the hook until Monday morning.

Our current financial situation is forcing us to sell a toy or two. There's not been many serious bites though, so I have a feeling we will end up keeping our boat.
 
Gerald - Sorry to hear about the sale of some toys, but I know what you are talking about. It has been an interesting couple of years. Hope to see you on the lake one way or another.

Nicky & Kes - Looking forward to seeing you all. Since I have had to stay close to home this year and not been able to make any of the gangs trips. We need to see if Paul and Jane(Or the rest of the Gang) are going to make it.
