Just updated the list, Bridog will be unable to make the trip, that thing called work that get in the way of fun sometimes.
 
Still trying to make the trip. :huh: Do you know how close the marina is to the hotel at Bay Point?
 
Aren't there docks over at the Marriott?

I don't really know the layout over there, but if you are staying at the Marriott and they have docks, do you need a slip at Bay Point?

Frank, I don't know about the docks will have to check again. When I said I needed a slip they sent me to Bay Point voice mail. I've left a message, but have not heard back yet. The view form Goggle Earth looks like it is next to it but I'm not sure.
 
The Marriott adjoins the Bay Point property, but the Bay Point Marina is around a point and a ways down the lagoon from the docks near the Marriott.

I go by there every day but it has been several months since I've seen any activity on t he docks. It could be they were damaged by one of the storms and not repaired. I would check with some one at the Marriott and ask specifically if those docks are useable and can you tie up to them while you are staying in a Marriott room.

If a slip is necessary I'd just call the Bay Point dock master directly.
 
Ye, I talked the Marriott again and they said the docks are for temp use only ie:The resturant, etc, can not tie up overnight.

Richard how close is the Marriott to your place?
 
I had not thought about that, but Richard's condo association just built some new docks just next to the marina that would be adequate for overnight tie-up. I have nothing to do with them but Richard will know their policies and if transient use is possible.
 
No, sorry we can not make it. We are taking the boat to Canada in early June and will stay there for about 6 weeks. No TV, No phone, no newspapers, no neighbors ---- just cruising! We are checking out for the summer. :cool: The picture below is one of the places that we will going to - Westport Ontario.
 
One month and we will be in PCB. :grin: I for one am ready. :thumbsup:
 
Barring any unforeseen happening, looks like you can put MS Judy down as being there. :thumbsup:
