What? ????I see this was a late post but I read it three time and still don't understand it.
Todd

He ommitted the "KW" from the word "KNOW" leaving the word "NO".

The rest involves puncuation, spelling and sentence structure.

OH BOY!!
This could get good!

Need to head to Jewel for another bag of Cheetos and maybe some Beef Jerky.

Also need to check what time the Hawks play so I can check this thread between periods.

Go Hawks!

I have nothing to say on the matter. Just doing my part to help get to 10 pages!

ps -go Scott! We've got your back man...

Sorry David but that does not clear it up.

"I see the usually know it all's, that know dick all have but their 2cents worth in."

It still makes no sense and frankly sounds like something a preschooler might say. The best I can figure is the "Professor" was trying to convey a message something like this:
" I see the usual know it alls that know [ nothing] have put their 2cents worth in"
With your correction as a start I believe I correctly deciphered the rest of this message! I know he's your boy David but that was a really tough read! Hey, how's the boat sale going? Any hits yet?
Todd

Funny! The lake boater whose furthest run without turning around and going back is getting all uppity calling boats where a 20 mile run is just a good start "dock queens!"

I say. 20 paces... turn... and draw. (assuming you're both in gun carrying states)

Good thing, I'm a horrible shot.

It's all in good fun though, I'd never see the reason to escalate to violence over a Honda Generator.

oh yeah the generator! I have decided while anchoring out at night, I will put the generator in the dingy and tie off about a 50 foot extension cord to a stern cleat. This way the dinghy will move with the boat as the tide changes. The generator is far enough away from the boat to prevent CO issues and the noise will be minimal. How does this sound to yall?

Your zinc's will like that a lot...

Oh wait, that's a different thread..

I see the biggest dock queen finally showed up on the last page.
The phrase no dick is correct you just have to figure it out.

It's a shame the dam libs that hate generators also hate guns. That should be good for another 10 pages.

as did I. . .

. . .although, once we started talking about duels it was only a matter of time.

I guess we are all full of sheeeeeeeet! Welcome to the holding tank, I hope this thing has been emptied lately. :smt021

I have never been down here. :wow: It's dark in here, how will anyone see to shoot in the duel?

The prof cant be a professor and conservative. He can only be one or the other, not both. That is not allowed on any campus in the world. So which is it, professor or conservative?

As to the point of “It's a shame the dam libs that hate generators also hate guns.”
Where did you get the idea that one who discourages portable generator use and promotes safe built-in generator use is a “lib”? Wouldn’t this by nature of position be a more conservative approach?

If it takes gruesome death to settle this debate then let’s do it in a manner that would serve the greater good. We need 5 boats and boaters from each side. They can each do what they promote for 30 consecutive nights and we can tally the dead at the end. Death by natural causes does not count.

Now is a great time for this valuable test as it is cool enough in most parts of the country to need heat all night. So get ready to reach a definitive outcome if you dare. Please share any other conditions we may need to accurately test this.

Well Mike, promoting suicide by generator may finally get this thread removed by the Admin!!!:smt038

So if I understand this thread correctly, I have to put my portable generator in a dingy. Once I have my generator in the dingy, I should push it off and let the cord keep it near, but not too near thanks all. does it really need to be a rice burner though? oops!! does my dingy need a anchor light? or will the noise be fine?

I would go with an anchor lite, get an old lamp out of the house, take the shade off and just plug it right into the Genny.

A candle or kerosene lantern may do the job too. Just make sure to have plenty of extra fuel stored with it so that you don't run out!
