Greenport to Shinnecock Inlet - Local knowledge needed please!

As co-cruise director, you should not have to ask me that question. It's all there in post #1.

You took your new boat out in windy conditions, without functioning wiper blades? But you do have a sham-wow on board already, and this was your first run? And to think, the entire CSR community relies on you to be our Cruise Director.....

My confidence is shaken.

The concept of windshield wipers are foreign to me. Haven't needed them for the past 9 years. And yes, I did have the presence of mind to take a sham-wow along, but the previous owner also left one in the lazarette. If I crash into a Norwalk rock or hit a telephone pole, at least the boat will be clean.

Ron, When Alex and I came back from LI to NJ, I got hit in the face so much that I had salt crust all over my face. It was like getting hit with a bucket of water every 2 minutes for 5 hours... Even Alex got wet on his bridge... I suspect if you were on your sedan bridge, in the same conditions you would have gotten wet too... I am glad you made it back safe and sound, and you got to break in your new girl... I am sure your ready for some calm weather boating in the bay...

Ron, the good thing about moving to the Dancer camp is, you'll no longer have to calculate continental drift when figuring out arrival time on trips.
