Fast food rant

. . . and only cooked to the extent necessary.
Reading this after the fact made me laugh, because if, after I order a quality cut of beef, I get the seemingly standard response of "Would you like some steak sauce with that?", I reply . . .
"I damn well better not, or you'll be taking it back so they can start over."
Generally, they get it.

Oh . I read on one of them news site’ 10 things never do in a steak house’. #1 was dont slather steak sauce on your steak. Insults the chef. Fark him, i do pour it on the side on plate. I like A1.

I get my meat from a local farm. I can look at my future T-bone or Sirloin as it is walking through the pasture or standing at the feed trough as I leave my dirt road. It is the best way to get meat.

o_O I've never seen these words used sequentially in this order before.
I'll admit I may have more Cowboy in me than most folks, but that just ain't right.

The only time I entertain fast food, it's brought on by dire need and even then, rabbit food won't get it. I'll either make it to where I can get some meat or I'll die making the attempt.
Obviously, my luck has held out thus far.
Mature medical conditions offer meager dietary choices.
turkey chicken and pork only plus the Veggies options. Life is hard and then you die ;)

Just bought a half pig from a fellow beekeeping friend.
no drugs or BS Diet. Even the melted leftover lard smells clean.

If you ever need a laxative and don't have anything, just go to the arches and instant diarrhea. Plan on sitting for a while , Damn

I found a McD up by the pistol range i go to. Very rural area. The people working there are of a different persuasion. And every order is correct, and looks like a commercial. And i can go thru the drive thru without having to check the order. Cecil County; MD guys get my drift.
However, the BK up there still has stale buns just like every other BK i went to. So i avoid it.

…and of what persuasion would they be of? LMFAO! Go ahead. Just say it.
:)

Sorry to hear about your fast food woes. It's so disappointing when orders don't turn out as expected. It's understandable to feel fed up. Maybe exploring local delis and sub shops could be a refreshing change! Also, if you're into homemade meals, you might find some solace in exploring canning recipes over at https://justcanning.com/. It's a great resource for preserving your favorite foods and taking control of your meals.

I like how you think bot..... when you dont like one place go to another.... you got this buddy

If you need to go in and have a colonoscopy done just go eat McDonald's food you'll be cleaned out in no time

I sure missed a lot while I was away.

Count me as done with the FF as well. I hit Taco Bell on my way home from church at 130am a couple of weeks ago and got 3 tacos with the obligatory drink (where the heck did "Sparkle" come from?). It was $14.71.

I remember when you could get more food than you could eat at Taco Bell for about $5. Game over. Now I'm going to have to cook after church. My poor kitchen.

I have been going to Jimmy's Famous Seafood more often than I used to after those numbskulls at PETA started going after them.

Haha, the ultimate fast-food cleanse! But seriously, if you're up for a different kind of culinary adventure, have you ever wondered how to make a Korean corn dog? It might just be the tastier alternative!
That Korean corn dog might just be exactly what it's called You never know

I am kind of at a loss for what the game plan is with these bots. I’ve no idea what the hell Korean corndog is either but if you ever get a chance to have some real Korean barbecue, don’t miss out on that.

We had a 'minor' flood in our home last September due to a broken pipe. We moved into a hotel on 9/29 and just checked out today.

The insurance company agreed to pay for our food, above and beyond what we normally spend per week for groceries and dining out.

During this ~6 months we have eaten at just about every fast food joint and regular restaurant in our area. I can't tell you how much I have learned to dislike fast food.

We've kept receipts for just about everything we've eaten and, to date, our food bills have totaled about $9300.

By way of a PS to this post we got some sad and surprising news today. The project manager for our job was terminated by the company today. That's sad for us because he was such a nice guy to work with on this.

We're to meet with two reps from the company on Monday morning to assess what needs to be done to complete the job.

We have a 5-week trip planned to AZ on 3/9 but it would appear that's going to have to be cancelled. We had been assured that the house would be finished well before that date but now it just ain't gonna happen.

At this point I'm guessing that it will be at least a month before it is done, and the way things have gone that could stretch to two months.

Can you sense the frustration in my words?

That really sucks.
Was there a Performance Clause in the contract?
Did they fire the PM, because work was behind schedule?
Or did they fire him to try to save a buck, because they are having financial issues?
