Fast food rant

You have bad luck with fast food. I have never had FF where I didn't get the meat I ordered. My son's friend has your luck. We took a car load of "kids" to McD's on the way home from the lake. Everyone got what they ordered except my son's friend. He ordered a double cheeseburger and fries. Got his fries. The double cheeseburger was a bun, 2 pieces of cheese and pickles.
Oh yeah, i have worst luck with Ff orders, long ago i gave up drive thru, i go inside and still not right, not unwrapping every sandwich at counter just to check. Easier to just avoid that crap.

Yeah, no longer a Subway fan. Jersey Mikes all day though!
You just have to find the right Subways. There are a couple on our way to the lake that are owned by the same guy. He is a baker by trade. And he gives a sh!t. Their bread is amazing. Some local to me just don't care and it shows.

I like Jimmy John's and Which Which too.

The McDs in Montrose PA has to be the worst in the world. Never had a good meal from there. I refuse to ever try again.

Oh, fast food mishaps can be a real bummer, and it's frustrating when orders are consistently incorrect. I can totally understand why you'd opt for avoiding the drive-thru altogether.
Excellent 1st post! I’ll take 4.

Speaking of fast food, if you ever want to enjoy something unique and delicious, you should consider trying your hand at how to make korean corn dog at home. It's a fun alternative that's worth the effort, and you can customize it to your liking. I found a fantastic recipe online, and it's a real treat for those craving a change from the usual fast food routine.

It’s 5 months since you posted this thread. How are you doing at avoiding FF now?

I get a nice veggie super burrito at my local taqueria for $10.50.

I only go to selected FF when I’m desperate hungry.

I found a McD up by the pistol range i go to. Very rural area. The people working there are of a different persuasion. And every order is correct, and looks like a commercial. And i can go thru the drive thru without having to check the order. Cecil County; MD guys get my drift.
However, the BK up there still has stale buns just like every other BK i went to. So i avoid it.

. . . nice veggie super burrito . . .
o_O I've never seen these words used sequentially in this order before.
I'll admit I may have more Cowboy in me than most folks, but that just ain't right.

The only time I entertain fast food, it's brought on by dire need and even then, rabbit food won't get it. I'll either make it to where I can get some meat or I'll die making the attempt.
Obviously, my luck has held out thus far.

The older I get the more I enjoy a chef salad and soup than knawing on a masticated cow.

Good thing you didn't forget your attachment.
I was all ready to ask if you knew what masticated meant, and then qualify that while I preferred meat, it was not partially eaten meat I was referring to. :)

Note that I said Cowboy, and not Caveman.
I do require my beef to be previously unchewed and only cooked to the extent necessary.
