Although I cant see it, given what happened yesterday, I have to believe that the Reliant Robin episode and Clarkson is on his side seconds afterward! Probably my favorite episode of all time with the dead pan "Zero to 60 simply wasn't possible" line!
I forgot about the fires x2. Also, not sure if you noticed but in session 2 of the sprint qualifying, the DHL signs appeared and disappeared. Like a digital glitch. Is the signage/sponsors being added digitally and not placed on the track?@OllieC...I agree with your assessment. They kept saying things like "the crowd was good for China on a Friday"......And what the heck was with the grass catching on fire? It was so obvious as to how it was happening, yet the F1 crew spent about 20 minutes doing indepth, investigative reporting. Sheesh...
But, kudos to F1 for the wide shots. It gave you a sense of the air quality or lack of it. It appeared to be a nucler winter there. The buildings in the distance were masked by a gray fog. Do you remember the Beijing Olympics a few years back? They shut down all factories a few months before to help "clear the air" before the international press showed up. If the environmental whackos wanted to REALLY do some good, they should go to China to ply their craft. Oh wait......
We are only through the Sprint Qualifying run. Should be an interesting race. I'm sort of hoping that it rains. Ha!
Jaybeaux
Highjack...Had to look up what Amish NASCAR is! Ha! We stopped watching the F1 practice in Miami (on DVR) to tune in to the Derby just as the horses were entering the starting gate. Didn't know anything about any horses. But I must say, that was the closest finish that I can remember seeing in a very long time. I thought that some of the camera angles were outstanding. I guess they came from drones. Flying over and beside the pack was really cool looking. As soon as the race was official, we went back to F1. We are about to resume watching this morning. We are at the sprint race. Don't spoil it!
We watched so no need for a spoiler alert for me. But yes! Logan is a dead man walking. He needs to go to the Oscar Piastri school of F1 Driving!Don’t want to spoil it, however good for _________!!
Hate to say it because he’s American, but Logan needs to go. Williams can’t afford to keep fixing his cars.
Amen. What a breath of fresh air!
Holy smoke, did Perez almost take out his teammate! Also could be a dead man walking.
I would like Max to hit 8 world championships, so I don’t have to hear constantly about the other guys 7 world championships.Amen.
Max is currently 'the shit' but damn it was nice to see someone else on the top step!
Hoping for more of not the same!
F1 has become a soap opera lately so having a race and having a different ending was great.
Anyone know if they are done giving Magnussen penalties yet?
What's this 'boatless' crap?Did you guys notice the boats in the infield. It looked like they were in water. I kept waiting for a good shot but they obviously felt the cars were more important

My wife and I saw those. I guess that they're trying to recreate that Monaco feel!Did you guys notice the boats in the infield. It looked like they were in water. I kept waiting for a good shot but they obviously felt the cars were more important
