F1

Is anyone watching Moto GP?
I finally got to watch the race but whoooooly crap did Marc Marquez take a ride in warm up.
Spoiler alert, he waked away with only a concussion.

Sure looks like Ferrari or Red Bull...

We have a company wide F1 fantasy league (the winner gets a pair of tickets to a race). I had Max last week and considered dropping him but if they get the issues worked out I can't see him not competing this week

2 hour qualifying. Yikes! (Not posting much trying not to ruin it for others) Massive red flag tho.

Big day today. Checo is on pole and NASCAR is at COTA in Austin.

Big Max fan here. What a great race, except for Checko. Max vs Charles is gonna be a lot of fun this season. These new cars are what we needed. Hopefully they can sort out the porpoising.

Another great finish, strategy is going to evolve quickly with these new cars. Bummer to wait two weeks for the Australian but cool that the teams get some extra time to pour over the data and sort some stuff out

It was great to see Checo take poll and wished he would have podiumed. He had the momentum for P3 in the end, but Latifi’s yellow had him slow.

Glasd I decide to start following F1 again and subscribed to F1 TV. I love the option to catch the race live if time permits or get a 30 minute edit or a 7 minute highlights.

If you get a chance, when F3 races and the Super Cup Porsches races, watch those two. They’re also on the F1 channel, or at least last year. Very entertaining and close racing. F2 is pretty good as well, but not as good as the beginners in F3 taking each other out. The Porsches are so large and evenly matched on these tracks it’s good ‘rubbing’

Totally agree with OllieC. One of our favorite races we watched at COTA was a support race for F1 for the Porsche Cup. It was the final race of the year and several positions were up for grabs in the championship based on that one race. Those guys were fearless and brutal coming into T15, making space where none existed. It was awesome!

I said that I had been to over 150 races. I quit going to NASCAR about 15 years ago. I used to tape them and watch every race. I haven’t watched a race in probably eight years.
NASCAR Cup races need to change; it seems anymore if you don't get collected up in a wreck you win.... They need to change the aero and dirty it up behind the cars. Actually, they need to change many of the rules - too much like IROC anymore. Plus then need to race in the rain on the road courses like everyone else.
