Elton John and his new baby son, or Michael Vick and the new dog he is stating he wants?

My money would not be put on Elton John that is for sure!

Doesn't the spring equinox celebrate creation between man and woman, even promoting copulation during the rite. Doesn't every major religion support the same? Doesn't nature tell show us that male and female create and raise up a family? Yet we as the smartest beings on earth believe that all of this is wrong. That the gods, and nature are somehow skewed. We reason that just because we want to do something it is OK with no ramification on society or nature.

The every idea that homosexual activity will render a childless society if left to itself shows a tear in the natural order of beings.

Yet we allow a few to completely disrupt the natural order of life for their own benefit. We are duped by code wards such as intolerance and homophobe that make us kowtow to this new life style agenda.

This is my opinion supported by my faith in God and nature. Will you be intolerant of it?

You are not alone Frank. You used to be of some value now you are just as bad as the rest of them. Well not just recently have been for a while.

With the exception of a few folks all the people here (this thread) are the stirrers of feces, that love to bring up useless topics that havev nothing to do with boating or boat repair, or maintenace. There is no place to have even a healthy debate becasue all of the folks with a lick of sense dont even bother.

Faith is already brought into this which is totally a useless argument (see Catholocism) and eventually this will be the govvernments fault.

For those who have stated an opinion and trully stand behind it (John, Todd, Scott) thank you for your opinion and unlike most i respect that. Thet rest are generally trying to get a rise and unfortunate on my part have. Gary as always thanks for the laugh

And no Old Fart(skool) i'm not intolerant of your faith or values.

I wouldn't consider myself an Old Fart but have lived long enough the know lifes to short to make enemies of name calling. Far to many important things to focus on.

I have a lot of fun with my boat and enjoy the folks here. I really enjoyed meeting a few like Chuck and Jason at the Keowee raft up. That's what makes it for me.

Just entered a thread on repairing my manifold last night and got great responses back already. That is what makes this site great to me.

There are many persons of varied political and religious persuasion here. I hold my beliefs and express them in the proper manner. Lacook is a white witch and many miss understand that faith. They need to put some study into what they don't know so that they can find common ground. No on ever gained a brother by building walls against him.

I am confident in my faith so talking to other about theirs does not shake me.

In all your posts in this thread you have not once given factual information on your position.

You have ripped everyone with name calling and abrasive comments but added no substance to your position. You, my friend, are the problem. You use a broad brush to paint everyone as either hateful, ignorant or just plain stupid but never validating what you believe.

Let's try this. Go and research your opinion, write out and edit it, then ask yourself if this comment will further my cause or not.

As it stands now, you have alienated even those who would agree with your opinion.

I have to be totally honest here ok fella's? cpt sundancer has been coming to this site for awhile now. He sought it out because of some issue with our SeaRay. He so enjoys this site. It is almost like a Bible to him when it comes to our boat. The technical support he gets the ideas and creativity is AWESOME. Thanks to all of you.

Technical support and mechanical ideas is not why I came or joined this site. I stay away from those threads. I came in here to protect my pig! To give my husband back up in all the pig bashing. I guess when the thread was closed I should of left and kept out of these other threads. They read as non boating issues with boating people. My favorite people are boating people. Like Tina says "If you come down to the river...."
Now I enjoy this site and these "FUN" threads. Seems my opinion and my being here is upsetting some people. I am sad about this, because I have made some acquaintances that I know in real life I would boat with any day of the week!

I would like to stay and hang out and still post on these non technical sites, but if it is inappropriate or unwelcome, just send me a private message ( room moderator) and I will go away more gracefully then I appeared.

There is not much to research here oldskool. I disagree with your and others opinions on the isuue of basically being gay is a disease and if a gay couple adopts a child they will infect it with that disease. It's not an issue in my eyes and in yours it is. I took real issue with the fact that a whole group of people was accused of being molesters. I have nor ever will disrespect you or others opinion just trying to figure out how it is okay to classify everyone with a certain lifestyle as molesters. I dont care or have the time to research the rate of molestation in gay couple versus heterosexual couples. Wayne will chime in and say he was only talking about Elton John but we all know that is not what he truly thinks.

I apologize for the old fart comment. I try not to do that sort of thing but we all make mistakes. As for abrasive coments that is norm for the site so i don't see them as beyond what is alerady posted. I could quote others but just scroll back and read post numbers 19,25, 27(on two levels), 29, 31, 42 (second sentence).

I guess this thread was sort of a tipping point to me. I truly enjoy this site and have learned alot from it and hope others have learned from some of the threads i have posted. As of late the whole site, which it always does this time of year has turned into a bashing site in the Tiki Bar and Holding Tank. While a pig on a boat is humorous and not typicall, people as we have learned, actually do that. Folks saw that as different and attacked. There is no denying that. In good humor or not i assume it was hurtful to the pig owners.

We all know that a mob mentality runs rampant on this site and whenever a opinion differing form the norm (for this site) is stated the mob is called into action. I don't think i have alianated anyone with the same opinion as mine i just think they don't want to deal with the general attack that ensues when said differing opinion is stated.

I knew full well that what i had to say would come to this and trust me i am not bothered by it. I'm a big boy and can take whatever is sent my way. Besides everyone on the internet is 6"5 350 of corn fed muscle so so am I. Just as you don't back away from your opinion i will not back away from mine. If this thread continues i will refrain from name calling.

I truly hope you have a good new year and respect that you have a thoughtful opinion.

I’m always glad to make a friend with a different opinion. The only thing I would correct on my behalf is that I believe homosexuality is a choice not a disease.

This post came by way of the Tiki Bar which is an open type, non boating related forum however issues such as this will always draw heated comments from many different opinions. I try to make sure to stay above the fray of hip shots and side ways comments however I must say that I don’t always come across that way.

I can be point blank and this allows others to misinterpret my thought or come across as abrasive. I have tried to put my personal preference behind so as to not cloud my true convictions on an issue but don’t always succeed.

Thanks for the New Years wish. Look forward to sharing ideas and boating tips with you and the rest in 2011.

Come on now a mental illness? Did you really say that out loud, and think I was NOT going to respond? So do you think alcoholism and drug addiction is a mental illness too? Actually one theory is and the theory I tend to understand and believe being gay is a DNA or gene or chemical make up. Mental illness is a chemical imbalance. Why people are gay, is a nature thing with in their own chemical construction. No one wakes up one more and says OH I WILL BE GAY! Not going to happen. There are treatment and cures for mental illness, not so for being gay. Nor should there be. The issue of being Gay has been around for centuries.

Now the whole BI-Sexual thing is by choice and for pure sexual pleasure. It has nothing to do with love or relationships or life partners. Which (most) men tend to think two bi-women are sexy and fantasize about being with two women. Now to me THAT IS SICK! Same goes for one women being with two men, most men would call her ugly names. I think the whole BI thing is just sick no matter what sex is engaging in the practice. Again I dont see BI sexual and Gay in the same light in any way. Bi-sexual is for sex. Being Gay is a life style and sex is a small part of it.
