Desktop a frikkin mess

I will take a pic of my desktop tomorrow lol...I left the digi camera at home today.

Mac tip of the day - leave camera at home and do a [Shift command 3] - Takes a snapshot of the screen. [Shift command 4] - you can select the area to take a shot of.

This places the image on your desktop --- Oh no!!!!!!!

We were actually talking about my REAL desktop...the desk I sit at. :thumbsup:

"User" folder on hard drive (no pun intended)

And get it right...it is "nrop" folder. Thats my security assurance that no one can just search for "porn" :smt001

Great idea for static desktop, but my desktop actually cycles through my iPhoto, so a different background every 5 (maybe 7?) seconds.

That looks cool though on yours with the boat, almost a kind of icon framing system

I use photo collections for my screen savers, had not thought about doing that for the background, course windoze may not do that.

BTW, a little OT, but in the Windows world, live out of/put everything in My Documents. That way, if you need to rebuild/format or move from one machine to another you simply back up/move your My Documents folder versus C this and C that.
