CSR Northeast Flotilla 2016

I have a few questions for the experienced group. This will be my first multi-overnight trip. My 6 year old daughter will be with us.
1. Is anyone coming with kids around her age?
2. Any recommendations on activities to bring in case the weather doesn't cooperate at some point. We have the iPad and phones. I'll bring some board games. Any other ideas?

Im having an issue with my port engine coolant system but will hopefully have it worked out by next week. Maybe we should start a list of who's bringing what. I can bring beverages- soda, beer, wine.. Whatever the group needs
I have 3 children, 12, 11 & 8. Two boys & a girl respectively. Even though I will only be at shelter island this flotilla, the kids have handled the trips fine in the past. We have tracvision so plenty of TV to watch when raining or tired. I also bring Playstation 3 for these trips. In addition we have the usual board games, uno & chess. I may recommend coloring books & crayons as that can keep my daughter & other girls busy for hours!! Hope this helps.

Jonathan I think you will be my kids new best friend!
You guys are more then welcome to my cockpit whenever need be. My 2 year old would be more then happy to have the company and play whatever you throw at her. I'm also bringing the 12 person raft which has a built in kiddie pool for the younger kids with a place for the adults to sit down and relax right next to them ontop of that I'm also bringing an onboard kiddie pool that will keep the baby happy on the long rides. I also have Playstation 2 in the cabin for the younger children in bad weather

thanks Todd. I have tracvision as well. Forgot about that also. Hopefully the weather cooperates and we won't need to much of it. I'm also only going to SI. Can't take off work right now

We also have DirectTV service, assorted DVDs and will have a Wii U on board with controllers for 4 players.

Anyone up for a showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show??? We have the 40th Anniversary DVD....

Unfortunately, we won't be there... it's a little too far away!

Have fun!

Cheers

So I'm gunna call up and book bikes for 8/2?

I have been trying all day today to reach them but no one is answering the phone and no one responded to my email this morning. I will try again tomorrow.

Rats! Just looked at it again and realized that it is a BluRay. I don't have a blue ray player on the boat, yet.... I will bring it anyway, just in case.

I have 2 girls who will be there. 8 and 9. We will be coming on Saturday around 3:30-4:00. Coming late, do I just tie up to someone on the end? Will anyone be monitoring a VHF channel to call ahead when we're arriving for assistance tying up?

There will always be somebody with a vhf on and somebody will always be coming out to help tie up.

Channel 69 but 16 will be monitored too

Since I never received a response from Vineyard Cycle, I found another bike rental shop. I made a reservation this morning for bikes for Arlene and I and a "AlleyCat" ride on trailer for Daniel.

The shop I called is:

Martha's Bike Rentals
4 Lagoon Pond Road
Vineyard Haven, MA 02568
800-559-0312

When I called, I told them that we have a large group that is interested in renting bikes. If we rent 7-10 bikes we can get 5% off. If we have 10-15 bikes rented we will get 8% off. If you will be renting bikes, mention “Club Sea Ray” so that they know we are part of the same group and if we get enough, we will all get the discount. I spoke to Bianca this morning, so you can ask for her if you wish.

Greg,

Will you be doing name tags? Having good number of new people, we could definitely use the name tags.

Only week away form the trip. Folks, let's get the table offerings going in more rapid pace. Only roughly 50% have responded. I'll be updating offerings for Larry, Rich and David shortly.

P.S.
Adding more boats on the first page.
