CSR North East Rendezvous

Mattituck, closer to PJ than to GP, but you wont need to stop. 2 min to shelter island by dinghy, we sometimes stay at deering harbor on the moorings and go back and forth by dinghy, a twist on the visits.
 
My wife just asked me about Greenport - said she read a write up in a boating magazine (I had no idea she read them) and asked if we could plan a trip there!!!!!! - I think there's a Brewers there too. All in favor....
 
The problem with Brewers is that it is away from town, grocery etc, taxis are a must. They do have fuel, a new pool, the restaurant is lacking. And they have us dock bow in do to the shallow slips.

Mitchell's is fine with me too....I am more excited about the location - that was what I meant by "All in favor...."
 
I'm a go.

The 280 does about 120 miles on a tank, 100 is the point where i start frantically looking for a fuel dock. I calculate about 85 miles as the crow flies, but I also have to go around the point so i'm about at my limit. I can pull back and do a 10mph cruise which will take me a whole day, or I could top off at mattituck and i'm sure i'll be good.
 
June, july, Aug. I'm good for pretty much any weekend for those months.

I don't want to say a date, cause it'll probably rain. but June 6-9?
 
anyone? Does someone have a better date?
 
I wouldn't mind early aug. 1st or second week.
 
Thats what I was suggesting, 1st week sounds good, how about anyone else?
