CSR Logo Ideas

Turtleone.... nice work. For those who don't know CSR though it might be difficult to actually figure out that it is a CSR... Is there a way to take a bit of the edge off so that the letters are a bit easier to identify... and then add ClubSeaRay.com below it?

Peter... really nice... I like that a lot.

another along those lines

TurtleTone: I like the contemporary look...the S and the r look like
Delta faucets

The gold logo would look cool  on a black T shirt

hahahah, you're right, they do look like faucets.

I actually thought they resembled the radar arches, or in a way waves. anyway, my eyeballs hurt from stairing at the computer screen, plus I can't think of anymore ideas right now.

The other thing to keep in mind is that with embroidery it is difficult to get all of the shades and highlights. While something looks great on the computer screen you might lose all of the great detail when it gets flattened out for embroidery. Just FYI.

Some really great ideas though...

I think if they use a shiney silver thread, then it will automatically have the highlights and shading.

TurtleTone, I think they're terrific -- all of them. I especially like the silver design with the name spelled out.

I agree I like the Silver which is spelled out. Could the R be capatilized to maybe take away the faucet look, that is all I see now that someone has pointed it out. The key is that it needs to be simple in my opinion the more busy it is the less I like it. I would also pass on the gold :smt009. Very nice job guys!!!

well not sure how to not change the look of the r. I used this font that has that look and changing to something else doesn't have the same look. Basically I used two programs to come up with this. The one program that generates the tubular steel looking font won't let me change the font and still retain the same look. So this is pretty much where my hacking abilities end. Unless someone else has an idea what to do.

You guys have done a great job with the logos....I'm impressed!

However, some of us have had experience with how aggressively Sea Ray's polices their trademarks. I am concerned that, even as cool and neat as they are, the ones with the swept or curved S & R in the Sea Ray name are going to make it on the radar of Brunswick's trademark infringement "cops" particularly since the logo will be used to sell products like aparel, flags, etc.

This one is up to Jim and his advisors to decide since he is the one that will have to deal with it if it does occur.

The S and R are a font, I don't think they can copyright a public font on two letters, Otherwise everyone that ever used Word could get sued. But I could be wrong.

No problem TurtleTone and by the way it looks great; I was just thinking if you changed it to a captial R instead of a lower case r it would take care of the problem. Hey I know nothing about those programs so was just going on my limited knowledge. Thanks again for taking the time to develop these there are alot of great ideas out there.

In this font, the capitol r is just a bigger version of the small r. you'd have to get someone to customize something to make a different r. kind of beyond my scope of ability at this point.

TurtleTone... Any chance of selecting a different font for the s and the r? Not sure if you want to continue messing with it... The design is really great either way.... thanks.
