When can we get some to fly for the spring?
 
Sorry I got to this a little late Turtle Tone but your Feb 24 07 design is killer! Stylish, modern, sophisticated. The only issue seemed to be the "r" not looking enough like an "r". All you need is a little hatch at the top going a little up and to the left for it to be recognized as a lower case "r".

I really like the logos, but do we really want the web site advertised? The club, yes, but we just got done saying how only really good people hang out here. Have you met John Q lately?

Am I missing the boat (STS)? Are we trying to advertise for the web site?

Jut a thought.
 
Hampton, Typcially yes, the website is advertised. Bad people can show up just by googling sea ray forum. Whether those type of people show up from googling or from reading the site address off a shirt or a hat, we have moderators that will deal with them. On the plus side we get new members, a larger knowledge base, and more opinions, which is what message boards are all about.

Another plus is that it helps bring in more potential customers for Jim, which helps offset the cost and time of running the site.

Glad so many like it. I personally like the freaky S R, but that's probably because I was dropped on my head at a young age :smt101

so let me know if this design is a go or not or if any changes need to be made.
 
I personally like the one below but I still think the SR needs some work. They look a little bit askew.

Oh yeah....If anybody from Sea Ray thinks this will infringe on your trademarks please let us know now :grin: :cool:
 
hmmm, they aren't askew'd, at least I didn't shift them in any way. maybe the C needs to be shifted? or maybe the Italic font isn't right? I looked at a bunch of other fonts but nothing was really hitting me. I'll look around and see if I can't find some others.
 
here I rotated the C a little, see if that works.

Looks great! How do we get a burgee ? The only way to do this right and hold up to the wind and weather and look good is a sewn burgee (not silkscreened). I know that embrodery cost more but with that cool graphic with the silver highlights-think how nice it will look on a navy cotton polo. We are hoping for a large turnout to the Great Lakes CSR rendevouis at ELK RAPIDS, MI on July 20-21, it sure would be nice to have some CSR stuff! How do we order-Let me know...
 
Where do we sit with the logo?

I don't have a boat yet but having a burgee or hat could get me by for the next few weeks while my head recovers from pulling most of my hair out.
 
who has the stickers? I cant remember what thread it came from..
