Ok guys now that everyone has pretty much had a chance to vent; we need to come back together. I agree with one of the postings; one of the things that made SRO and now CSR board so nice is you did not have to worry about people / boat bashing. There are definately some issues that have some people (including myself) fired up and those were vented and it is time to step back and say ok glad I got this off my chest, but now lets talk boating. If you do not like the way someone ask a question do not respond to it, if they see no one is responding, they will figure it out. What I do want to remind everyone is the rules of the board which you agreed to when you registered for CSR. They will be listed below.

I did amend postings for language that I deemed bad and followed it up with a PM to the user telling them what I did (except for Gary who posted before I could get the PM sent). Hopefully I will not have the need to amend postings anymore. As for language I will ask that you try and keep it clean.

I am closing the other threads, if you would like to discuss anything with a moderator about the actions that either one of us took, please do not make another posting but, send us a PM and I am sure we can all come to an understanding. If you would like to discuss it further with a member of the board shoot them a PM. We are going to take a break from these threads and go back to boating. If other threads are opened they will be closed until everyone has a chance to settle down and get back to the happy family we had.

Lets go back to what we love and all agree on BOATING....

Thanks to everyone for your opinion weither you agreed with me or not that is what makes this board great. We may not agree but we usually can get over it pretty quickly.

Geez Wesley , that seems a little harsh.
All kidding aside, I love this board, I love the members and enjoy the differences of opinion, perspectives and varied advice. Experience, pride and the value of the comments and/or contributions seem to be easy to filter or pursue.

I think regardless of a boat’s size or age, their owner’s age or experience; a common respect seems to surrounds people messing around boats. I believe that intrinsically resides here as well.

I appreciate this forum for the knowledge, entertainment and brotherhood.

I think Wesley needs to get a life! I just read through those rules. Sheesh, your interpretation of those rules if ultra-strict is it not? Whew, thats crazy. What a party pooper. Crap, was that a bad word? Ugggh, did I do it again?! Yikes.
 
Ok, everyone stop bickering and go buy Apple products. I own a good chunk of stock, bought in at $22/share and it's split twice since then. may I suggest a new ipod, or maybe you need a new iphone cause your dog ate the old one. maybe you would like to surf the net on your boat with a new macbook? do some ichat with an isight and send photos back and forth from iphoto? or you can capture and edit cool videos like me....

basically, I want a bigger boat with a bigger head. So go support apple so I can hang with the big boat guys. :cool:

well id like to chime in.. I think the mods make the rules, and thats it. They do a good job of enforcing it cause i have gotten pms from them. BUT.. i think they are too strict at some things.. BUT wesley and them all do what they gotta do.. BUT we gotta be able to have some fun!

Hey folks lighten up, the mods a just enforcing the rules we all agreed to when we signed up on Club Sea Ray. They are just trying to keep it a family oriented place that we and our families, that would be men women and children, can come to and talk about without anyone getting offended by the language used. Some are not bothered by most of the 4 letter words, others are, please respect the feelings of others. :thumbsup: Oh, by the way, the 4 letter words do not offend me, I have been known to use them, this just is not the place. :smt018 Now go have fun, relax and enjoy life and this board. :grin:
