Norcal boater,I guess you cant help being an ass, that is just in your nature. Many people around this world have pets, some, exotic and some more mainstream. I guess when you live in a crappy state like cal. you have crappy views on things. glad you have a boat, happy flooding, mudslides, earthquakes, gangs, smog and a state that is drowning in dept. We wont be thinking of you next spring when we go boating on our great beaches, clean water and boaters that we meet who all love our pet potbellied pig,KOJACK happy holidays :smt001

NOcalboater, santa said you sucked this year, therefore, you get a lump of coal in your stocking. :smt021

This is getting fun...

First of all, I would rather be here in California where I can promise I won't be thinking of you when I am boating this weekend....(will you be?) You can wait until spring to boat and then boat for 4 months and then put the boat away.

Have you ever spent any real time in California? We have beautiful beaches and oceans for boating; lakes, rivers, mountains and deserts. Yes its crowded. Yes there are earthquakes. Yes the state is in debt. But why do you think it is so crowded? Its because many, many people have discovered the beauty and resourses that California has to offer. If your area was even close to equal everyone would want to live there as well. But they don't.

There is one thing we don't have in California and that is pigs on boats. In fact, I have been boating for over 40 years and I have never seen a pig on a boat. You say everyone likes seeing your pig on your boat. I doubt that it's everyone. I wouldn't enjoy it. A pig, to me, is the other white meat.

Now as for calling me names....I only suggested you guys were clueless thinking owning a pig is normal. I didn't call you an ass or a jerk or prick. That was uncalled for unless that's the best you can do. I don't begrudge you owning whatever pet you want but, I'm sorry its not going to keep me from thinking you are weird anymore than the people who keep snakes, tarantulas, lizards, etc. But you're going to have to be a bit less pig-headed when people ridicule you.

And don't let the little guy make a pig of himself at Christmas dinner.

Had no idea this thread was still going.... Well,,,how about my parrot as a "Strange Boat Critter?" He likes to boat,,,,,,,,,,,Never mind... he takes care of himself...

Parrots are synonymous with boats....

Pigs are synonymous with sweet potatoes and apple sauce.

I was thinking, this could work to get the pig on the boat!!! You'd have to increase the strength of the materials to account for the weight, but I really think this is promising and would be a blast.

Just think, your own "Pigapult"

I've tested one at my home, I guess they call them "Cat"apults for a reason. Can't say more as I might incriminate myself on the upcoming investigation....
Love it!!
