If fuel stays at their current price, more. We did a 5 hour cruise last weekend and I can tell you it was much more enjoyable paying 1/2 the price for fuel.

Plus we have relocated our boat closer to the Chesapeake Bay in anticipation of taking more trips next Spring/Summer.

I agree with mrsR....If fuel prices remain the same or close it will be much more enjoyable.
We plan to make longer trips with the boat in tow versus staying local.

I'm delaying a surgery on my shoulder which will be scheduled for early April. I'll be off of work for 6 month (April thru Sept) You better believe I'll be boating:grin:

I am certainly hoping for more boat time. In fact if I was not working it is 77 and sunshine here today, too nice a day to be waisting working.

I hate to say it but most likely less with a baby on the way.....due end of May.

Congratulations...we plan to use ours more. This year the doctor suggested Paige not go for boat rides on the weekends which is the only time we go so it was really a waste of a season except for a great trip to Keowee. The baby will be here in March and plan to have her on the boat as soon as possible.

Thanks Weave and Wes! My daughter will be 3 by then so maybe she can be my first mate. We'll leave mom and the baby at home!

My oldest son graduated last year so we got a late start on the season. In fact it was the lastest first launch date since we started boating in 1988. After the start we did fairly well be I didn't do a good job planning so time on the boat. I already told the wife that next year I'm taking more long weekends that will allow for more boating even if we have things to do on the weekend.

Hey Lt. Dan, I'm sure they can find you a 9-5 desk job.

No light duty unless the injury occured in duty, which it may have but I don't know with any certainty so I'm not gonna put it on them (I've gotta sleep at night) so sick time, comp time and all of my vacation time will all go............. But hopefully I can put this off until April. I'm in therapy now and if I can't work through tha pain and re-hab, I'll be getting cut on soon which means I'm off during the winter:smt021

just messin' with ya...good lucK with it.

I hope that works out for you. It has not worked out for us. Always some "reason" we can't go out this weekend :smt017
We finally bought a bilge heater this year trying to extend the season. We'll see how that goes.

Hmm.. I had shoulder surgery about 10 years ago... not sure you'll be boating. Of course I was hit by a car and stuck my arm out to stop it and it literally almost ripped my arm off....

Shoulder surgery is very painful. Have FUN!!!!

Lots more of this

since I won't be as busy at work next year!

The same or a little more, unless I have to share the boat with those who don't own one under our new administration.
