Thank you! We had a long list of names on our fridge all winter the year we bought it. We would ask guests there opinion and most would add a name or two to it. Finally in the spring over dinner at a local bar my wife came up with Softspot. (Boat had a softspot on deck repaired at previous owners expense). We decided that was a bad omen but after a few more shoal finders Sweetspot came about! We got home and tossed the list in the trash!
That’s a great one!

Our boat’s name came from a birthday card I picked up for my wife’s 50th a couple of years ago. I said to her at the time that the outside cover of the card would be a great name for a boat. I saved a picture of the card and sent it to a flag company based out of New York to make our burgee. I always say “I’m in Deep…Shit” or “…Trouble” but there are so many ways to finish the phrase. The inside of the card said “… and falling more in love with you every year!” I got some serious brownie points with that card. :D

Very cool back story! Thanks for sharing!

When we were looking at names, we kept coming back to song titles from our youth. We settled on Square Biz, one of my wife's favorites.

FYI - I wanted Killing me Softly - just seemed appropriate

Summer Daze 3... With the short boating season, it just felt like I was in a summer daze for 5 months out of the year.

I used to love going to the piano bar!
