Atlantic City Rendezvous 2011

Video is done. If you know someone who attended but doesn't hang out on CSR, let them know where to find the vid (youtube), if they care! I'm trying to like Macs, I really am, but it's not easy.

Give me a minute...

Does it work now?

Just realizing that Lady Taz and For Play are omitted. Anyone else?

Marshall - sorry. This is my learning curve with Mac. You're the third boat omitted. It was on the original vid clips, as were the other missing links, but I did something wrong. a thousand pardons to those omitted!

I'm filing a complaint with the "Pink Shirt Labor Relations Board"!!
Dillon's Creek here we come!

Very cool video, Ron. My boat just made it in the last 10sec....LOL.

What a great experience! I would like to thank Ron, Rick, and everyone else who helped organize the event. The trip to AC involved thick fog, a grounding, and the worst green head swarm I have ever encountered. The trip home on the outside to Barnegat was incredible. The weather was perfect and I had never had my boat in the ocean for longer than 5 minutes. I had the biggest smile on my face and will always remember that ride!

The best part of the trip was the people! Everyone was great. From the tour of Lady Taz to little conversations with people on the dock the hospitality was refreshing. My wife and the kids had a great time and we could not have had a better first trip.

Re-did the video using youtube's cheesy video editor. Not as slick as i-movie but at least I can incorporate stills - turns out I had NO video of Bugsy's boat at all so I did some substitutions. I think everyone is now represented...

Ron

If you have Windows 7, you can download Windows Live Movie maker for free. It it a basic movie editor that allows you to mix videos, stills and music. It can even handle AVCHD files. Probably not as slick as Imovie, but it's free. http://explore.live.com/windows-live-movie-maker?os=other

BTW, thanks again for all your efforts organizing the trip.

Very Nice work Ron.....and thanks for the proof that my 380DA was correctly at the Happening H-Dock.....

I have 7 pro at work but Vista Home on my home PC - and there's no way I'd have enough time to mess around with video at work. Windows Moviemaker (on vista) does not support stupid .mov file extensions, which is what my camera produces. It's worse than republicans and democrats.

Ron, I really feel bad that we weren't there when I see all the pictures... We look forward to the AC trip months in advance. Going my car, isn't the same as by boat... I think more than half the fun is in the trip. This year is flying by, and I hope I can get my boat back in commission to start burning some fuel... We are hoping to go on some local trips soon. Hopefully we can have a raft up at the secret spot in a couple weeks...

I've had a request or two to start setting that up. Might start another thread. I know what you mean - I went by car one year to meet some friends who went by boat and it's just not the same. We did miss you guys!
