Thanks to all of you who have served to help keep this country free. You have helped to give us the freedom to enjoy the waters of this great country. Tuesday 11/11 is Veterans Day, please thank all the vets you know. Oh, and wish the Marines a happy 233 Birthday on Monday 10 November.

I agree with you completely, those that have served to protect us need all the thanks they can get. Without their sacrifice who knows where we would be now.
 
Well I want to thank you guys for remembering. And thanks for the birthday wish! Served a total of 24 years, Infantry, Hoo-Ahh!!! Four with the Corp and 20 with the Army.

My thanks go out to all that have and are serving. Takes a special kinda person to want to do that!

I have to piggy back on the thanks. I've been serving for the past 23+ years, but other than some out-of-the-way assignments, I feel like I've had it pretty easy compared to our young marines (and others) spending birthdays and Christmas in Afhanistan and/or Iraq...

Thanks to you and your families for all of your sacrifices, and God speed.

Because we truly can't thank our vets enough, too many of us are overwhelmed and don't even make the effort. I'm thanking a Marine buddy of mine today, and placing a few flags on veterans' graves for tomorrow. Thanks to all of the vets on this board.

Thank You,

30 years (with good behavior) in the Navy - 9 active (2 of which were on Air Force Exchange Pilot Duty) and 21 in the reserves. Worked with great people who are lifelong friends, flew off some great ships (421 carrier landings), and flew some great airplanes.

"Sailors have more fun" - especially in Sea Rays!

No!, but neither can I. Hope to be in the Veteran's Day fly by here in town.
